Re: What are you currently playing?

Odin Sphere - PS2, bloody hell I don't think I've seen prettier sprites in a game Loved this game - so sad that it had to end eventually. Looks lovely, has a gripping (uncliched) story which is genuinely touching throughout and generally feels epic all the way through. Everybody should play this - ...

Re: What is the rarest/most expensive game you own?

Nothing amazing really, just several PAL GC games such as Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Tales of Symphonia which seem to sell for around £30-£50 on ebay

Oh and Marvel vs Capcom 2 for the Xbox - got that for £8 at gamestation.

Re: If money was no object

Neo Geo set up. Its like the Bently of console gaming :D This. I'd really like a Daytona USA arcade machine in my house as well just for the hell of it. Doubt I'd really appreciate anything I bought though if I could have anything whenever - probably the only good point about having budget limitati...

Re: Games I'd Like To See Featured In The Mag (PLEASE)

Darkstalkers series - no need for it to be so overshadowed by Street Fighter all the time.

Also, how about Fighters Megamix? failing that, an AM2 feature would be welcome though I suspect you might have already done the latter at some point?

Re: Xbox is officially retro .....according to Gamestation

Just look for the Xbox games which also came out on the 360 to get an idea of which were the last titles. The Xbox versions are usually rarer (in my experience) so could be worth something in the future...possibly.

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Absolutely nothing yet. Got a few PS2 pre-orders (Persona 4, Mana Khemia) due this month from Play.com so I'm watching my spending at the moment thanks to my limited budget. the Mega CD article in the latest RG has tainted me with the need to get a MK1 version off of ebay...must resist... An modded ...

Re: Game Cover Requests

A bit of a long shot (can't see it happening) but how about a Darkstalkers cover? Just splash a pic of Morrigan on there and you're done  I'm dreaming of course - doubt enough people like the series for it to be a cover feature :(

Re: From the forum question Issue 63

Probably the GBA as it's almost like a handheld 16bit era console given some of the games on the system (including the SNES port of LttP and the FF games) such as Metroid Zero Mission. If i had a PSP, I'd most likely vote for that considering the amount of games I've eyed up for it over the years (I...

Re: New Vs Old - Super Mario 64 Vs Super Mario Galaxy

I can see SM64's excellence but I think that it's main weakness is that you had to be there at the time to truly appreciate what a revolution it was. I wasn't one of those people and although I enjoyed the game when I eventually played it, I wouldn't consider it one of my all-time greats. SMG felt t...

Just as I suspected though I did worry that something was perhaps missing :)

Thanks.

Oh, btw, did any of the EA games actually use more than one disc or not?

Question about Magic Carpet (Saturn version)

Just a quick question - the case for this game is huge (another EA custom job?) and I noticed that there is a second disc holder inside. Is this just a standard EA case or is something else (an expansion pack disc perhaps) meant to be stored in the second holder?

Re: Official feedback for ISSUE 61

The Mega-CD really is a wonderful machine to own, I think it just looks so visually appealing and is easily the sexiest piece of hardware going (in its Mark 1 guise, anyway). You could argue that it failed to reach its full potential in terms of software but there's more than enough quality stuff o...

Re: Non-removable sticker on front cover of #61

To be honest, I thought it was just something that WHSmith had put on themselves or something. Don't really understand the uproar about this though - not as if it's ruining the magazine content or anything. Then again, I guess RG is more of a collectable magazine than 'regular' gaming mags (which I ...

Being a 16/32 bit sort of guy, I loved the Mega CD article. Only problem is that it's made me want one more than ever now! My wallet disagrees though.
