I looked at the sticker - £26

Might've been worth it if it was SOR3 though

My local shops are full of filthy PS1 consoles dumped in curver boxes with a few wrecked games of no value whatsoever.

I have found some good things though; Complete copies of Sega Rally and Sonic R for £1.50 each for example. Needless to say, I bought them :D

Gamestation rarely check the discs on trade-ins in my experience. I've even taken games back to get exchanges because they were faulty and I didn't have to provide a receipt or anything. I noticed this started happening at my local GameStation at the same time that they got the disc-grinding machin...

Considering I only got my Saturn last year (really late I know) I still say that I really like it. I was brought up the Playstation so I missed out completely on what the Saturn had to offer.

Nothing valuable/rare as such but I was glad to get my copy of Toejam and Earl III for the xbox through the post today off of ebay. Paid little over a fiver for it. Incidentally, I haven't played the Mega Drive T&E games. Which is the best out of the three (inc. the xbox version)? I'm guessing it'll...

Basically, Now I don't want to be known as a games snob but I hate it when you buy a PS2 black-label game (non pl...

I've been asking about common issues with the DS on another thread; dead pixels are becoming the bane of my life - any idead (rough guess, anything) about the percentage of DS units with duff displays? Hard to tell. I know many of the launch DS's back in 2005 had dead pixel problems - got mine a we...

Just ordered Toejam and Earl III after giving it a go on an old Xbox Official Magazine demo that I (for some reason) had never even tried before. The demo played really well and was pretty funny so I'm looking forward to playing the real thing :)

Was in Cex the otheday and almost bought Odama for gamecube. Was only £6, so there had be a catch. In the queue, this kid in front who was trading in a pile of games and looked like a genuine cex regular (lack of vitamins) sort of turned his head like the first zombie encounter in Resi 1 and witho...

Played CoD WaW on PS2. Worst game ever, such a let down. Only bought it because A) it was cheap (£15), and B) it has a British campaign. its a totally stripped down version, and I kinda expected it - but even CoD on the PC is better, by miles! I've played it. Really, really bad. The graphics could...

Ah, thanks. Yeah, I think I have the Thompson drive :x Its already caused me to take a copy of DOA3 back and get it replaced because I had no idea about the drives then, obviously. Then again, that game was really scratched. I thought I'd struck gold when I found my xbox copy of Marvel vs Capcom 2 f...

Hi, another new user here! My name's Richard and I'm 18. Is it rare to get people of my age group around here? Anyway, I love the Playstation, Saturn and Megadrive. Being born at the beginning of the 90's means I missed out on loads of games (didn't get a console in the house until the PS1) so I'm s...

I dunno, I prefer BIN's as long as they are reasonable. I don't have that much money to throw at ebay so I usually get outbid on almost everything which is really frustrating :(

Thought I'd use this thread instead of making another. I've not long had an xbox myself but I've noticed that the console is more likely to reject a damaged disc than say the PS2. Is it something to do with the laser? I've got PS2 games that look horrendous on the bottom but the console plays them w...
