Thanks for posting the list. Always thought Pitfall II was more enjoyable than the original, personally. Especially the versions with the second level added in.

Be sure to check out Alundra on PSOne too - in many ways it's Landstalker's sequel in all but name - the same team were involved and it builds on the same game mechanics and structure, and features some of the most impressive 2D graphics in the genre. The deluxe Atari 2600 was great for being a hell of a lot smaller.

The NES in particular had better picture quality than its top loading version due to the top loader not having AV inputs.
