Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Picked up a copy of Corporation for the Mega Drive. Also a collection of some old Mean Machines Sega magazines, ones I had missed back in the day so am reading them for the first time!

Re: Recommended games for 3 or more simultaneous local players

Going back to 16-bit era Micro Machines was fun - the Megadrive cart that had a special expansion on the cart itself to plug 2 more controllers in, no multi-tap necessary. Gauntlet had that function, although I never played the game so couldn't tell you if it was a good conversion! Think with Worms ...

Re: PlayStation 3 - Retro or not?

Absolutely not! Still have a friend who uses the machine as his 'main' console. Got a blu-ray player which is close enough to the latest tech and video/picture quality, still feels close enough to me to be nothing like Retro! And don't think it was that long ago they were still releasing new games f...

Re: Retro consoles on a 4ktv

Something else that hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet, and is something that by all accounts marries the old retro with use of new technology, is the Nintendo and Sega machines from Analogue ( https://www.analogue.co/super-nt/ ) They're a bit pricey compared to the cheapo plug-in emulation bo...

Re: New F1 rules debacle

But thats the entire argument of having a larger points gap between 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Up until recently everyone was virtually certain that it would be changing to a 12-9-7 system. Its worked in bike racing for years (although they use 25-20-16) - its worth putting in that extra effort for the 5 poi...

New F1 rules debacle

The title says it all basically. Despite a fan and team survey, the FIA has decided to completely ignore those recommendations and create a 'most wins' system. I don't know where to start with saying why this is a bad idea, but the best thing to do is look up some of the F1 websites such as Planet F...

Xbox live has been hacked for God knows how long, if you ever tried posting times on Forza when it was first released and saw the lap records of 5 seconds or whatever on some tracks then you realise this.
