Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Here's my pickups from the past week plus bootfair items: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8431/7773944984_2e8113e642.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8303/7773948410_49746f3c0e.jpg Really am intrigued by this one here...the e-reader for Mario Party. Apparently it's also a card game, as well as a GBA ...

Re: Worst deal you've every seen

An old lady tried to sell me a Mega Drive for £20 on it's own a few years ago at a bootfair.

Also I occasionally see GB or GBAs loose and people ask for £15+ for them. I've picked them up for no more than £4 in the past.

Re: Anybody collect DS games?

Anyone tried Henry Hatsworth?

I found it to be a real little gem, a great mixture of puzzle and action.

Re: Does anyone collect (modern) game soundtracks?

If I love a game then I'll love the soundtrack. I normally opt for Resident Evil soundtracks if they're cheap or on offer. My most recent one that i've loved is the Mercenaries 2 free download song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEbE3fGfF-o Also Metal Gear Solid have amazing soundtracks - good old ...

IIRC Pic-Pic is quite rare. I never saw Sniper Elite on the Wii till now either. Nice cover on it too.

Thanks. Both PicPic and Sniper Elite were surprises to find in the wild. When in Devon.....

Re: Anybody collect DS games?

I never got on all that well with the DS. It was fun to begin with, and I have enjoyed several games for it quite a bit, but the system's lack of power and D-pad controls were a problem for me when it can to 3D games on it. I think the system is great for puzzlers and 2D games that don't use the st...

Puzzle Bobble on the 3DS. Similiar gameplay, but the boss modes are refreshing (and annoying).

Re: Anybody collect DS games?

I didn't know that this existed. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51yULao6XQL._SL500_AA300_.jpg It's just the two games with a card sleeve around them I think, nothing overly special but a good value purchase if you can pick it up cheaply. The USK logo leads me to think it was probably more of...

Re: video game hunting stories

Charity shopping all the way :)

Got a mint sealed US NES game for £1.00 (Mickey Mouse) and also EVO mint for £2.99.

Bootfairs tend to give me cheap games. Any cardboard games tend to be mashed up :(
