Re: Video Games Within Video Games.
I seem to recall playing Galaga when loading Ridge Racer on Playstation (could have been RR2 though..?)
Also, I'm sure theres a game that gives you Rally X when its loading. Can't remember which game it is now though.....

If a man speaks in the woods and there are no women around to hear, is he still wrong?

Re: Super NES vs Mega Drive
The SNES is the wet flannel of games consoles. The actual hardware itself looked slow. It did have good games though and it was good at the cutesy comicbook/cartoon aesthetics. Thats likely due to the brighter colour pallet I guess (colour is actually underlined with a red squigly there! what the??)...

Re: MegaDrive Wins!
Someone has been using a bit of Mode 7 scaling on the SNES poll entry! By a factor of 2! Plus, most Mega Drive users are too busy to post (I accidentally wrote busty then. Wishful thinking perhaps  ) Also, I think your internet is faulty. More excuses as i think of them............................

Re: Super NES vs Mega Drive
Its the Mega Drive for me by default as its not only better than the SNES, its better than any other electronic device ever invented.
Plus it has the better version of Street Fighter II

Re: Best 80's action film
Christ, that is an evil poll mate! A Good one though as this is my era and favorite genre.
With the exception of Lethal Weapon and Big Trouble in Little China all those films are ranked right up there in my all time favorites.
To pick only one is tricky. I reckon I'll have to go for Aliens...

Re: Tony Iommi
Dehumanizer is a great album. I've seen a Dio era box set on Amazon (Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules, Live Evil and Dehumanizer!). I might treat myself to it. Also, did you hear the collaboration album Iommi did? I think it was just called "Iommi"? I must track that down... He has a definite style. You c...

Re: Guess the movie quote (googling outlawed)
The best Jackie Chan films are the ones that have been overdubbed in English. It makes them more comical.
Still can't put my finger on that quote though.

Tony Iommi
Is he the king of the guitar riff? I was listening to 13 on the way home from work earlier and he kept throwing out these classic, simple riffs that just sounded sweet. I've listened to a lot of Black Sabbath over the years and the guys a genius. Also, I love Ozzy but I'm a big Dio fan. He did some ...

I've been trying to muster up a guess, at least, but I have no idea!
