Re: Formula 1 2013 season thread

Oh dear! After reading this, I'd be a worried Lotus team - and the Hulk would be looking at NO seat next year :( http://www.reddit.com/r/formula1/comments/1qqqjz/why_the_lotus_deal_is_a_fantasy_who_are_quantum/ ha ha. Nothing changes, F1 has always been full of chancers who like the kudos of...

Agree that the movie was awful, but McGann himself clearly had the chops to be a great doctor.

Re: Blockbusters has gone into Administration

I really want to say I'll be sad to see the place go, but in truth the people who work(ed) in my local one have always been rude and unhelpful. Can't agree more! Both the staff in our local one in Swansea and here in Plymouth are obnoxious sods and will probably get jobs in Cex when the store close...

Re: Doctor Who Community Buzzing With Rumours

Night of the Doctor was better than a lot of the recent episodes. McGann really could have been a great Doctor, what a shame, but a least he get his moment here.

Re: Blockbusters has gone into Administration

i took a stroll to my local one. Most things were 50% off, except for some of the newer releases. I did get Pandora's Tower for £6 (plus I got a couple of PS3 games with no box for £2 each by the till). I really want to say I'll be sad to see the place go, but in truth the people who work(ed) in my ...

Re: Formula 1 2013 season thread

Perez and Maldonado have both been running their mouths off it seems - though Perez did seem to realise it wasn't a good idea and trotted out a nice letter later.

You have to question whether these guys have the temperament or smarts to be in 2014 style F1. Just being quick is not enough.

Re: Formula 1 2013 season thread

Smedley could be the better part of the deal - if they put him in some sort of sporting director role, so they can sort out things like pit stops and poor strategy calls etc.

this is something I've wanted on GC for ages - but a HD version will do very nicely.

Re: Formula 1 2013 season thread

5 races ago Massa looked a dead dog, but he's driven so much better since then. Which probably raises the question: does he only drive well when his job's on the line? Williams might not find him very motivated with a multi-year contract signed

Re: Food/Drink from the past

they look nice. Annoying that you can't get all Cadbury's stuff everywhere. Their Tiffin and Golden Crisp bars in Ireland are lovely.

EDIT: my mistake, found it now - was called Cabana!
