I could never part with any of my retro gears - i'm so sad in that way - I even keep the few duplicates of games I own...you know....just in case one explodes or is abducted. But, if it had to be one console, it'd have to be my megadrive. When you love 2d platforming as much as I do, you need ...

As I haven't got my magazine yet, do pray tell: which conversion was it based on? (I love Bombjack - and I like always had fun with the 464 version - though everyone always says it was tosh).

ha ha this would be an ace little series of articles - we could all be like those people in the simpsons and live in a home for 'Veterans of unpopular console wars.'

Our school was a bit of an inner city dump - we had these really old RML 380 and 480 machines - huge black metal beasts with 8 inch discs - they were years out of date even then. anyone else lumbered with these at school? The only game we had was 'snake' - which me and two mates type in from a listi...

I am a Vic20 man myself (with a dash of Mattel Aquarius on the side). For some reason I used to have a complete collection of Rabbit Software Vic releases - I think they were all the local shop sold - sadly it's all gone now. When I start collecting Vic20 stuff again, I'd try for a complete cartridg...

150 for a Memotech - mother would never allow me to buy that! (it seems pretty extreme) - hopefully one day a carboot sale will turn up one.
