That World of Illusion looks a bit odd, is it a pirate copy?

Re: selling up

It's a scary thought that's entered my mind a couple of times over the last year or so, and I still don't know if I could... My MD collection alone has been valued at around £2500, but at the same time I've been telling myself that if I DID sell, it'd only be the Sega and handheld stuff I'd keep. It...

Back to Audiosurf... Except the obsessive part of me's having problems with it because the Last.fm scrobbling feature only seems to work when it wants to, if at all :?

Re: Why did they take that out?

The individual story modes for each character in Soul Calibur V - just one long story mode that doesn't give you a choice who you play as, bah. Shame because other than that it's my favourite Soul Calibur game since the first one.

Re: Any NES fans?

PinBall - One of the first games for it and still one of the best games on it... Probably one of my favourite pinball games overall! Seems simplistic at first but there's dozens of fun little secrets to find. Ufouria: The Saga - A Metroid/Castlevania type thing from the makers of Kirby, where you pl...

Re: Who Did Disney Games better, Capcom or Sega

Sega, easily... I find most Capcom games hard to enjoy (outside of the Ghosts 'N Goblins series and the first Mega Man game).

But yeah, Traveller's Tales should be an option, Mickey Mania's a ridiculously good game!

A fair few of the heads mentioned I'd prefer to see on spikes rather than a mountain

Re: Modern gaming is better than retro gaming.

Modern games... They LOOK and SOUND amazing, but I can't see myself ever getting to enjoy them - partially because the current things are so expensive, and also because of the amount of time required to get anything out of them. I'd LOVE to be able to get lost in Fallout 4 or Elder Scrolls V or what...

Re: American Adventure theme park

The only time I ever went there was on my 13th birthday back in 1998, they were having a "free entry day" for some reason. Loved the log flume (the tallest in Europe at the time I think?) and the spinning octopus ride - an overall great day out. Those pictures are sad, but I don't have the same atta...

Re: End of the Xbox 360

Hardly play it (or anything else for that matter) these days, but I'm not looking forward to the day when XBLA is shut down, meaning I won't be able to play any of the indie games anymore. Score Rush, Infinity Danger and Shoot 1UP are amongst my all-time most favourite games :( You have no need to ...

Re: Mega Twins (Chiki Chiki Boys)

Viking Child you say? Got that for the Lynx YEARS ago but never convinced myself to play it, what with the box making it look like a standard cutesy platformer thing (not that I've anything against that kind of game, but it didn't even look like a stand-out example).

May have to rectify this now...

Re: Ps1 games that convert well to psp

I had no idea Zoop and Gubble were on PS1!

No need to look for Zoop as I have the MD version on there already, but I used to love Gubble... Wonder if I still do?

Re: Mega Twins (Chiki Chiki Boys)

Ha, love it :D Used to rent out the Mega Drive version fairly often, the first time because I thought the name was funny, the other times because it was such an enjoyable game... Not sure about sequels, but Wonder Boy In Monster Land is a similar sort of thing, in that it's a platformer with swords ...

Re: Your top 5 indie games

01-Cave Story - Everyone's played it by now but I'm still loving it and still haven't finished it... I go back to the start every few years because it's such a wonderful little world. 02-Score Rush - An Xbox 360 twin stick shooter thing, ridiculously colourful and frantic. 03-AudioSurf - Like a rhy...
