Re: What type of Arcade game player were you?

The type that would go with no money and just pretend to play the games until someone moved me out the way. Found a few coins once and put them in the Simpsons machine and was ACTUALLY PLAYING IT when my mum pulled me away saying it was time to go.

Re: Issue 157

Was having a flick through this issue in Smith's today whilst killing some time, and noticed I had a two page spread in there (about Super Robot Pinball)... I wrote that thing seven years ago, what's the method/criteria for those things getting chosen? It happened three years ago as well, but obviou...

Re: What is the most edited, censored film released

CutThroat Island - that Geena Davis pirate film that did so badly it killed the studio (but I loved it)... On VHS it's a 15, but the DVD I have is a PG, pretty much every fight scene is butchered - pirates running at each other then suddenly they're dead. One character just plain disappears until yo...

Name that font?

Odd request but there's been odder, so here we go... Take a look at the packaging on this toy rat: http://www.tobar.co.uk/rubbery-rat Can anyone tell me what font's getting used there? I saw it for the first time on a compilation album back in 2000 and have been looking for it ever since, it seems t...

And... The GamesMaster list from 2008! It's... a bit odd  49-Pokemon Diamond/Pearl [Game Boy Advance] You're right - it is a bit odd. Now I know that the DS (well, the older "classic" and "Lite" models anyway) can play GBA games - but I was unaware that Diamond & Pearl got released on the GB...

Results were voted for by the readers... If Sega had paid they wouldn't have Mario & Sonic At The Olympics as their highest ranked title...

Re: Gamesradar presents Classic Gaming Vol. 1 bookazine

Saw this in WH Smith's last week, was sort of tempted by the Mega Drive bits, but on a flick through it was exactly the kind of sterile dullness that seems so prevalent in publishing these days... And as Ant said, yeah - obvious and pointless.

Yeah, I said it was odd
Hogs of War, Theme Park, Elite and Jet Set Radio stick out like sore thumbs amongst the rest of that list

Worth mentioning that the 2000 list was voted for by readers rather than whatever the magazine dictated... Which makes the inclusion of Zero Tolerance all the more fun :D

Was playing that game a couple of nights ago ("inspired" by this list), bloody hard it is!

Re: Mega Drive Everdrive

Got the Mega Drive one, sitting inside the 32X which is inside the Multimega... So that's four Sega systems in one, love it :D

(It plays SMS ROMs as well, see)

The Everdrive works in the Nomad as well, which is a nice thing to know.
