Re: Who can fix my PSP?

Tried that, but no joy :( Thanks anyway though, looks like a re-flashing is in order. It's a Slim & Lite (2000) model that I have, any idea what the best/easiest/"safest" way to go about re-flashing would be? It was seven years ago last time I did this, guessing there's been a bit of change since th...

Who can fix my PSP?

I'm not ready to move on to gaming tablets yet - my PSP's perfect, and up until last night it's been perfect since 2009. Sat on the bed, went to launch the eBook reader (how has the PSP got an eBook reader that's better than anything I've tried on Android?!?), but accidentally opened the LEDA Legacy...

Re: Gigs

Perhaps sensing this question would one day be asked, I've been keeping notes of every band I've ever seen, and giving them ratings out of five too (based on enjoyment rather than performance). This is handy. 2001 CAST (4/5) - Chavasse Park, Liverpool GORILLAZ (4/5) - Manchester Academy STEREOPHONIC...

Re: Sonic Mania (Brand New Retro Inspired Sonic Game)

If it makes it to Vita or Wii U, that'll be the "final nail" to convince me to join the current generation (even though both those seem fairly dead, ah well).

Re: Your Unpopular Opinion!

I've only seen Mrs. Brown's Boys once, and I laughed when s/he fell off the top of the Xmas tree... So here's one imbecile :P

VERY true! Nice evolution for Pac-Man nonetheless... I miss the days of free interpretation, not much in the way of uniqueness these days.

Re: Retro gaming merchandise history

I've got a rubber Pac-Man toy from 1982 (which looks nothing like the "established" Pac-Man design), and a Donkey Kong soft toy from 1982 which, again, looks nothing like the "established" Donkey Kong. http://www.gamesniped.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Vintage-Rare-Pac-Man-Figure-Vinyl-Rubber-Toy-...

They had four of them in the Liverpool One WH Smith's today... A 40 minute train ride from Manchester

Re: Bookazines / Specials

Got that Sega Archives bookazine today, very nice indeed... One thing I wish was included in the bookazines though are those "And the rest" bits (or whatever they're called), a double page spread of maybe fifty numbered screenshots. Always nice to look at. Other than that, a very nice thing indeed, ...

Re: Sonic Mania Thoughts

I bought a 360 to play Sonic 4 and it was a load of tosh, I won't be getting a new console to play this one but I'm still "looking forward to it".

Re: Best "rolling ball" game(s)

Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2 are obviously right up there. They are essentially the same game gameplay wise, just different levels. SMB2 gets the nod of the two for me due to the extra mini games. Or there's always Super Monkey Ball Deluxe which has everything from the first two games and 47 extra level...

TrailBlazer's fantastic, but to play it you'd have to get a Gizmondo

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Carrying three Ikea bags worth of recycling half a mile to the recycling bank to find that said recycling bank has vanished... Then carrying on walking to the next one to find THAT one has vanished too, and then having a Cheap MDF rubbish full of recycling that I can't get rid of. Bah.

Before the Internet I had no idea that Bubsy Bobcat was widely considered to be a "bad game"... I love it!
