Re: The 360 Import Thread

Absolutely loving DoDonPachi Dai Ou Jou at the moment, but is it me or are the display options messed up? Nowhere near as intuitive as options in other Cave releases.

Re: The 360 Import Thread

Anyone know if Under Defeat will have a limited print run? Not sure whether to pre-order or not. Fantastic it is being reissued either way :)

Re: 1995-1997 PC Games Magazines

Hi Adam, Sadly I don't have any old 90's PC mags kicking about but there is a short but fairly in depth behind the scenes feature on Ultima Online in volume 3 of the Retro Bookazine the Games TM people put out a while back. You may have seen it already, just thought I'd mention it! https://www.imagi...

Re: The 360 Import Thread

Phew! Took the plunge yesterday and ordered a Jap 360 slim from Play Asia along with a copy of Akai Katana. This has probably been asked a millions times, but will I need a stepdown or will a UK power pack work fine? Also, does anybody know if PAL copies of Red Dead Redemption, Oblivion, Call of Du...

All you have to do to get the system up and running is plug in your PAL powercord and powerbrick, you don'e even have to unpack the ones you'll get with your JP 360 - it'll work perfectly. Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

Symphony of the Night, really enjoyed it. It still looks absolutely fantastic, some amazing back drops and the castle is a joy to explore. Shame it flopped back in the day. Now its time to complete Resi 4.

Re: What are you currently playing?

Currently playing Symphony of the Night on PSP. I had trouble getting into it on xbla, but it is perfectly suited to the PSP. Absolutely loving it. Also picked up Resident Evil 4 Wii edition earlier, can't wait to start that later!

Re: What was your first "wow" moment

Impossible to pick just one, I can't really remember a first either :( 1. The intro to Link's Awakening. This blew my mind and stood head and shoulders above anything I'd seen on a Game Boy screen. 2. Seeing a kid playing on a traditional grey Game Boy but with a Red game cartridge inserted, think h...

Re: Super Star Wars Trilogy (SNES)

Never owned a SNES back in the day but I completed Super Return of the Jedi for the Game Boy. Amazingly I recently have discovered it plays very similarly to the 16 bit entry and is a lot more forgiving.
