Re: Videogames Hardware Handbook

It is for sale on the retrogamer website. What I'd like to know is that is: 1. Is it just a collection of all the retroinspections of previous issues of retrogamer magazine? 2. Does it include the top games of each system or is it just the hardware? I like the idea of having a bookazine just devoted...

Re: sega master system in retrogamer

A quick flick through the covers on the DVDs suggests issue 44 is your friend. RG doesn't really "do" indepth on actual hardware though, it's retro "gamer" after all. So I wouldn't expect a floating point calculation run off between the Z80 and 8086 anytime soon. Many thanks. I didn't mean that in ...

sega master system in retrogamer

Hi Guys
I want to read up on this system. Which issue of retrogamer had in depth coverage of the sms? I'm more into the hardware rather than games so if more than one issue covered it, which one had a more detailed look at it?

Super play magazine review list?

I want to know if there is a website of a complete list of SNES games reviewed in super play magazine. I want to know the game name, issue month and year , review score and mag no if applicable . Something Like the amiga magazine rack website.

Thanks

Re: Which games can you never stop playing?

When I had my beloved Amstrad CPC. I enjoyed most of the few games I played but there was one game in particular I loved and played it all the time right till the end of my CPC days. It was Jon Ritman's Matchday II,the best 8 bit game I've played.

Re: Best handheld for retro gaming?

I have a GP2X which is good for retrogaming. The joystick and build quality aren't the best in the world but it's still a nice little system with some good emulators. I was playing the original Dizzy (Amstrad version) on it and it looked great on the screen and brought back some wonderful memories.

Re: C&VG magazine review list

Man what is this thread turning into. I was looking for a list of C64 zzap reviews last year and found the zzap bible which was just what I was looking for, the complete list of reviews by title and issue. I was now looking for the similar sort of thing by C&VG. There are lists/scans on the web I ha...

C&VG magazine review list

i have been trying to find a list of review scores of all 8 and 16 bit games reviewed by the Computer & Video games magazine. I have been to the amiga magazine rack which is an excellent site but doesn't cover all the issues. I'm only interested in issues from 1987- 1993 and don't want scans of the ...

Re: Turrican 2

Think it was last thing manfred did that was released at least on the C64....Probably VERY wrong here  Going totally off memory and been LOT of years since i had a C64. Manfred Trenz's last C64 game was Enforcer which was released a year after Turrican 2 , although he gave the official thumbs ...

Turrican 2

Just a couple of questions regarding Turrican 2. Was this game originally developed and designed on the C64 by Manfred Tranz and then ported to the Amiga by Factor 5? Am i right in thinking that he was working for Rainbow Arts and Factor 5 was a seperate company which had nothing to do with him who ...

Re: Exclusive Amstrad CPC games question

Err, we seem to be a long way off the original topic now... let's get back to the Amstrad, and particularly the EXCLUSIVES. Jesus, What have I started! Still it's all very interesting though. Yeah the thread is about names/lists of exclusives and those which were first developed on the CPC 464/664 ...

Re: Exclusive Amstrad CPC games question

Many thanks for the replies guys, Wow, I missed out on so many games on the CPC but really enjoyed the few I played all those years ago on the great machine. Didn't know so many games were originally made on the CPC. :D
