RTS games, turn-based & random battle RPG's (FFVII being the only exception in the latter category) even though I've tried desperately to like/enjoy them and American Football games.

Downloadable games = cheaper originals?

Hi all.

What are your thoughts re downloading retro games on the current gen consoles and do you think the price of the games on the original systems are likely to come down, if not already, then eventually?

Yep, if you love Doom as much as me then definitely get a copy of it (heck buy two or three as it's unbelievably cheap to get hold of!). Be warned though, some of the secrets are the most obsure in the series. Have to agree with you STranger81, good as it is in it's own right, Doom 3 just doesn't 'f...

I think the N64 was vastly under-rated and I still play it to this very day. For those not convinced by it I would recommend they check out Super Mario 64 (forget the re-releases on the DS and Wii VC), Mario Kart 64(multiplayer rocks!), all RARE releases (they truly were their best on Nintendo machi...

Rick Astely, ha, ha, nice one! Yep buying two copies has always been a sure winner. It is crazy how much people are willing to pay for sealed games. Does anybody remember a sealed PAL Zelda Majora's Mask going for a crazy amount? A game like that you'd be insane to sell on anyway but selling one in ...

Great idea - I think you're on to a winner there. If you don't mind, can I put this idea to the RG team (Team Alfie getting the plaudits, of course)? I must admit I did like Nam Rood (even though he did come across a complete kn*b at the time!). His cheats were legendary - who can forget his tip for...

Cybernet! I remember setting my video (on a Sunday or Monday evening) for that as well - pity i recorded out/threw away alot of my old video tapes . If you're still into gaming shows check out Bravo's 'Player'. It's probably the best show in comprehensive coverage of games (mainstream one's, th...

Re the Pokemon games, you're right; good old Nintendo do factory seal all their releases with the red Nintendo strip, so the ones being sold are likely to be the seller own shrink wrap.

Wanted: Gamesmaster & Bad Influence TV Shows (Vid or DVD

Hello all.

Does anyone know where I can get a hold of copies of the tv shows 'Gamesmaster' and 'Bad Influence' (Video or DVD)?

I loved the brief re-run GM series 1 had on Challenge TV on Sky and haven't a clue why they stopped showing it!

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers!

Sealed games - Your Opinion please!

Hello all. What are your thoughts on sealed games? Having talked to quite a number of people on this topic the camp's are firmly divided; those who don't see the point in keeping a game sealed (when it is supposed to played anyway), and those who would not open a sealed game in their collection if t...
