Re: Contra style games.

Hey Supernaut! You can get Contra (or Probotector as it's known in the UK) on the MD, and quite a fine game it is as well! A word of warning though: the US version (Contra) won't work on the UK MD's without a latter release convertor (or if it's chipped - but i don't condone that for a sec!). A few ...

Superb Shinobi (and cheers for checking for me)!

PM me for what you'd be looking for me to take them off you

Also, if you have the Super Play ones as well, even better! :D

Re: Wanted: Mean Machines & Super Play mags

Shinobi, if you have the ones i'm looking for, and you'd be willing to part with them, then that would be absolutely fantastic!

Cheers and don't go doing your self an injury in that attic of yours (sounds like a scary place!).

I await with baited breath...

Re: Wanted: Mean Machines & Super Play mags

Cheers for that TyronW but, as you guessed it, i'm looking for actual copies.

Hopefully someone will come up with goods. (Did I mention I'll pay a very reasonable price for them ?)

Wanted: Mean Machines & Super Play mags

Hey all. Seeing as how everyone is seemingly putting their stuff on here for trade/sale or looking for something I thought I'd get in on the act! As you can tell from the title, I am looking for Mean Machines Magazines (issues 12, 17 and 21 - but if you have any earlier ones (2-9) and you'd be willi...

Re: Ebay Nazis!

Sorry mate, but I'm with Rinoa on this one. I'm sure we've all been annoyed at some point when buying something from said site and paying more than enough (sometimes too much!) to cover postage and packaging only to find the item arrives worse for wear due to the packing (or lack of) not being as ex...

Street Fighter IV Help Please!

Hello folks.

Could someone please tell me which magazine gave away the soundtrack Street Fighter IV CD? It was either a dedicated PS3 or XBOX one but i've searched all the newsagents and can't find it so assume that issue is no longer available!

Cheers!

A BIG THANKS to the Retro Gamer team!

Hello people of RG. Just wanted to say a really BIG THANKS for printing my forum topic (Most Played Game Ever) in the latest issue - 58. I was studying for exams so left the issue untouched for after they were finished (a big treat to myself) and to say the wait was worth it is a very big understate...

First experience of Doom was on the Playstation (Playstation Plus magazine gave a free demo of a level). I'll never forgot showing one of my mates the mag, who promptly rushed out of the pending lecture at Uni and was not seen for a few days; he'd bought a copy of the aforementioned mag with demo an...

Your most played game ever?

Hey all.

What's been your most played game ever?

My is undoubtedly Street Fighter II/Turbo on the SNES. It would be scary to add up the hours I've spent on that game. I still play it to this very day!
