Re: Resident Evil VII

Not sure how far im in at so far...i think playing with the vr helmet is a slower experience as you seem to have to look far more for things, physically for starters. Ive just got the red and vlue cards and had a bit of a "saw" type videotape which was a fun diversion. im guessing a lot of dlc will ...

Re: Resident Evil VII

Yes as darran said, the family are more of an undeafeatable kind of constant threat. Ammo can be sparse at times but head shots seem easier to do this time around, especially in vr mode. I will say though that the 2nd time i met jack frustrated the hell out of me, I purposely backtracked a bit speci...

Re: Resident Evil VII

Yeah the 180 degree turn has been in the games since the remake or 4, not sure but it does aid the queasy factor rather than watching the room spin you can press left stick back and press circle, you could also do a long blink as you press them just to give yourself that microsecond focus regain. It...

Re: Resident Evil VII

Im assuming (i havent checked yet) that the control options maybe the same, if not there are ways to either move the left right looking at angles of 30 45 90 degrees, i found this jarring and a bit hot and miss when boss fighting, Instead of the angles i choose the camera smoothing options which cha...

Re: What are you currently playing?

After taking a break from some ps4 i turned the ps3 on and rediscovered some gems. The puppeteer maybe the the most under appreciated game i know. Played a few more levels and forgpt how unique and infectious it was. Also after being stuck for aaaages on a boss i wrote off Nuni kuni thingy white wit...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Buying a reduced ps4 pad not sony approved obviously for 7 quid reduced from 30. Pad doesnt even work. Youbare meant to update the pad on your pc first then connect it to your ps4. It connects then disconnects 2 mins later. Id be annoyed spending 30quid for starters but 50quid for an official one is...

Re: Resident Evil VII

Ive used it on the star wars tie fighter dlc and was enthralled with being inside the cockpit, there are games that are billed as immsersive experiences and are a joy, even if its being inside a bedtime story. I havent tried the funfair games but i do have the after dawn on the rails shoooter and th...

Re: What are you currently playing?

As long as its expected that im meant to keep dying, while infuriating if i can see im progressing, ill stick with it...its annoying losing gold every game and maybe finding that you are 10p short of buying anything and having to give it all up just to replay...became tedious

Re: Resident Evil VII

It is seriously the tensest feeling you will get playing a game, walking down corridors and retracing your steps at times causes you to expect something to happen then its almost unfair when something doesnt but believe me when they do happen make sure there is no pet/person/cups/tv close by because...

Re: Resident Evil VII

Im only part way through it. Ive played it using the VR and it is the tensest ive ever been. It feels so real being "in" the game, having someones face literally in my face, being lifted up by an enemy and being able to look down at them. There was a bit where the lights went out and a face appeared...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Drove all round Bridgend looking for resi7, all sold out. Went to maesteg tesco about 10 miles away and not only got the game but they had P12 turtle beach headphones reduced to £10 and an unnoficial ps4 pad by gator claw reduced from £25 to £7...its supposed to be a bit naff, no lights or touch pad...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Playing Hotline Miami 2 on vita for a while now and have just deleted it. Got quite far in but have been stuck on a level now for days, managed to clear it and got stuck on the mext floor, days later i got to the next floor this afternoon. I paused the game to make a brew, went back to it and the pa...
