Its also good when they tell you the name of the person delivering it, like as if Steve will deliver it any faster than Brian.

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Scummy work colleagues. Those that are so jealous of others success. I was promoted a couple of years back yet there is always that one person that thinks they deserve it or just want a title to be important. Well this one person whose brother is a little but more successful than him in life decided...

Re: CoD is going back to it's WW2 roots

Cod 2 was my fave too, online and off. Simple weapons and gameplay, no perks or dogs or helidrop debacles, no drones etc If you wanted to run you had to put you rifle away and run with a pistol, well move a bit faster..wasnt really running. I think there were 2 or 3 of each weapon you could choose f...

Re: console battle first KO R5 3DO VS PLAYSTATION 1

Im not sure entirely what its based on, but i voted 3do based entirely on the basis i have fonder memories playing with it. Whether it be the whole family playing Twisted, completing captain quazar with my sister while she was bunking off school or my mates playing an arcade (at the time) perfect Su...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

My internet speeds are fine, and my ps4 is kept on rest mode all the time. My xbox one is also on standby, i pay the sub for ps+ but not xbox live so maybe that will be part of the issue as sony update through the rest mode too. I have read that killer instinct has an issue wherby if you install the...

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I abhor the sufy showings , the episodes are cut to shreds almost causing the show to make no sense. I recently caught the end of the final buffy episode and there was no showing of the outcome to some people who died and when spike tried to hold back the Evil while wearing the brooch thing was cut ...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Yeah i don't think anybody can really say The Walking Dead is some sort of masterpiece storyline - it's basically a dramatic neverending soap opera. We watch it, and I probably consider it in the same stimulation bracket as Holby City. It's a bit of fun with gratuitous gore thrown in. The acting is...

Re: Trailer for the new "IT" movie

I think a lot of the time IT and salems lot have the heavily edited versions shown on tv. The extended versions are the best. I agree about tge stupid spider scene though.

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

Just finished the remake of Mickeys Castle of Illusion. Its not a game id like to revisit if im honest. The jumping was at times very finniky especially the running towards the screen boss and jumps that you have to get right first time or tge block you are standing on gives way. Mizrabels towers is...

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Yep at the start Dawn was a whiny brat but the scene where buffy goes to her class to tell her about "the body" gave and still does give me goosebumps. Season5 was probably one of my faves where willow almost lost Tara and became pretty powerful. I was never keen on the episodes where they visited A...

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Yeah i must have seen a few extra episodes as iirc he was a bit edward furlong looking. Buffy had a knack of inserting a killer ending or arc during a pretty lame episode..like the episode before the body which was 99%dire until buffy comes home. I find when regular characters move on or only appear...
