Re: Area's of games you could never get past

There was a bit on a shinobi type game - maybe one of the sequals. It involved a room of spinning buddhas where you had to quickly destroy columns of spinning buddhas, once you destroyed one then another would drop vertically making you basically run out of space and hitting you. Hated it.

Re: How big are you expecting the PS4 VR to be?

Motion sickness can be frequent. I used to use the save bits in resi evil to rest my eyes a bit. The controls on some games can be smoothed to avoid jarring movements, but you do get used to it, kind of. Try not to make sudden movements too often when just moving your eyes meybe enough. Everyone th...

Re: Sonic Mania (Brand New Retro Inspired Sonic Game)

My annoyance with the bonus levels is there is a very slight lag from when you press the direction you want to move to collect the blue spheres. I colloect them around the outside of the square sets so they turn to rings...but the lag between the sharp movemnets and when it speeds up are unfair. I d...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Havent seen the Dr Who one but you make it sound so annoying my stomach turned. I have in the past watched a few walking dead reaction videos where people are crying and screaming "why, whyyyyyyyeeeeee...not Ben noooo. Someone on here replied that most are paid to act like that a la gogglebox. My ir...

Re: What 20 games would you have picked for the SNES Mini?

Re: How do you watch tv?

If you watch a show over several seasons, you can be talking about a 4 or 5 year period . Its easy to forget some subplots or minor characters, and when they resurface several seasons later it can be dificult to recall them. Watching boxsets of GOT I understand the storylines so much better, and so...

Re: Games that hold nostalgia for you

I think we are at the stage now in games where there is almost nowhere else to go. I never thought the VR experience would be as good as ive experienced, even impressing non gamers in my family to be spooked to call it almost witchcraft. Doom in VR ? I dont think Resi Evil could have been anymore re...

Re: Games that hold nostalgia for you

I can still remember the first time i played DoubleDragon, Kung Fu Master and Golden Axe. If i want a nostalgic slab rush ill put one on mame and have an hour, not necessarily playing to get to the end, just playing and remembering days gone by. Im glad i was born in the era i was born, i experience...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Whenever I order anything, you can guarantee it will arrive when there is NOBODY around to take it in. I ordered from Amazon and the vague tracking info given was basically "its on its way" and a green line. Anyway yesterday, beautiful scorching day sat in, in case I miss the delivery. All day until...

Re: Your fave Mortal Kombat

Mk2. Annoyed me the fuss they made about the fatalities, the moves to activate them were so vagueand almost impossible in the time given. When you have instructions that start with being a precise distance away to start with, i think every fatality was usually a high punch failed move. I liked scorp...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

I was playing it on wiiu pad and there is a criminal amount of slowdown on bits. The first level where you have zombies coming up plus jumping dogs and flaming skulls behind portculis things slows down terrible. I made a point of making sure i always had the gold armour then constantly saving and re...
