Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

I found the first season of Fear the walking dead a real chore. its not as instant as The walking dead and i haven't found any likeable characters. I am half way through the 3rd i think and it picks up a bit, but nothing massive. I hear it gets better series 4 on, but id have bailed by now if i had ...

Peoples over reliance on contactless payments. This happens at least 5 to 10 times daily - Customer comes to till point, taps their card and starts to walk off. they turn and say "ok" "gone through?" When you touch the pad, it needs to connect to the bank and authorise, the delay between someone tap...

IT Chapter2 - Probably one i was looking forward to most...I didn't enjoy it as much as the first. Which happened with the 1990 version too.

The Babadook - After reading much hype about it being the scariest movie ever etc...bored stupid. waste of hour and half.

Re: What are you currently playing?

The Last of Us 2. At my age now I rarely get more than 1 to 2 hours if that a day so I normally find myself skipping cutscenes. But this game I haven't skipped any. The story is a whole part of an otherwise straight forward uncharted kind of game. I also thought i was close to the end of the game be...

Yep, still working. In between breaks and shifts though, my switch has been having a hammering with Resident evil 4,5,original and zero...although i forgot how tedious resi5 gets towards the end. I can not for the life of me remember the layout of the x,y,b,a buttons on the switch so constantly fail...

I'm sure I saw some in Clintons saying Mam, wasn't mothers day cards as it was a few weeks ago. Probably Valentines or something. Mam. Must be American? Or is that just Mom? Does anyone else here use Mam? :? There lots of people originating from the North East of England say Mam so probably enough ...

Few good nostalgia throwbacks on Sony Channel those being Hart to Hart and Charlies Angels series. Also re runs of V the series on Forces TV and Space1999.
And a bit of 80s drama Widows.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Interesting, I had heard the sequel was generally regarded as being inferior and a disappointment. I'll post my view on the game, sometime, whenever I get around to it, next year probably. The second game is much easier and i seem to recall it was moaned about because of this. Its still a cha...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I loved Nuni Kuni 2, but the first one I bailed on a quarter of the way through. I just couldn't get the hang of the turn based fighting system and the way you can swap out helpers along the way. No matter how I tried, i just couldn't get it. I almost bailed on the first boss. Then figured out you h...

Re: The most disappointed you've ever been in a release

Not to mention you had to turn the tape over to listen to the outrun music while playing the game. For the time and spectrum limitations, they were good days. But recently looking back on a lot of games i loved as a kid, I said to myself....Really? did I spend a summer in my room playing this?? The ...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

I bought Cuphead again this time on the Switch. I assumed I was rubbish at it on Xbox one because of Lag between wireless controllers?? But nope, Im still crap at it to point of throwing my switch. Then i removed the paddles thinking it was the screen that was too heavy and affecting gameplay?..Nope...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

The Game of Thrones episode frustrated me. I felt it too dark to see anything, the kills were fast and frantic where I couldn't see who was being killed. The dragon fights were all over the place and i couldn't see who was on what dragon and where. The last half hour though was great and a fitting e...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Im betting that the failure of PS VR is indeed due to the lack of move controllers etc available. CEX sell 2nd hand ones for 40 quid, just for one. i know you can use the pad with some games, but its not the same.

Cuphead - an ideal way to smash up or throw your switch. Probably the Darksouls of the run n gun world. Beautiful though.
