Re: Issue 90 feedback thread

Disappointed the demise of 8 bit gaming feature wasn't in, but hopefully moving it back to issue 92, might mean more time is spent on the article not that I'm saying it wouldn't have been any good. Not a fan of Zelda, can't say I have ever played a Zelda game or indeed seen someone playing one. So a...

Re: Official Feedback Issue 85

I thought RG was only available exclusively in WH Smith.

I can't ever remember seeing it anywhere else in London.

My sub copy still not arrived, give it till Thurs and then ring. Hopefully a one off, otherwise no point in subscribing if they are going to arrive a week + after in the shops.

Re: RG price

I'd be willing to pay £5.99 definately or to be tied into a subscription for a minimum term of say 12 months.

Agreed I hated all these sort of games I tried, like Head over Heels, Knight Lore etc, really awful trying to get to grips with the controls.

Trying to move around in the world, was like playing Twister with your own hands.

Re: Retro Gamer 84 Official Feedback Thread: The Christmas I

Loved the adventure game section, I was drawn to Sanatarium after reading the brief description. As usual Iain and Pauls columns were spot on and something I could relate too. Also downloaded and am addicted to the Game Dev Iphone/touch game, cracking little game (well I say little it's quite big re...

Re: Awesome Retro Gamer Mugs Now Available

Finally got mine today (assumably the postage cost is for extra slow postage  ) Must say I am impressed they are better than they look in the picture. They look in the picture as if they would be quite light, but they are very weighty (is there such a word?). Overall really glad I got them, ho...

Re: Awesome Retro Gamer Mugs Now Available

Surprised no one has said, you'd be a mug not to get em.

£10 for a limited (very) edition mug isn't too bad surely.

Got a couple myself, going to use them in work, be the first time in 10 years I haven't used one of my footy mugs.

Iain Lee & Paul Davis

Always love reading these guys columns, without fail every month they raise a laugh from me, quite often embarrassingly when I'm on the train reading it. The bit about The Bard's Tale loading in the loading times column had me giggling for ages. Would love to see their columns expanded and/or more c...

Re: Anyone more interested in Retro Games history than playing?

Definately more interest in reading about retro games, then really playing them. I do occasionally play them on emulators, but I'm not interested in collecting them or the computers/consoles. On the other hand, I love reading about old games/computers/consoles, that I grew up with and I'm very pleas...

Re: Back to the Future 25th Anniversary

Love the films, be interesting when we get to 21st Oct 2015, as in the date they fly to in Back to Future 2 to see if life is anything like how it's protrayed in the film. Don't think we will quite be at the flying car stage. Could see a variation on the 3D jaws maybe though. I wonder if the produce...
