Going to have to intervene here. You cannot compare two different genres, because taste varies. Gran Turismo is a driving simulation game, wheras Ridge Racer is an arcade racing game. Surely a simulation should SIMULATE the subject matter... I dont think ramming ever car out the way and bouncing of...

I have access to one of the larger inner-city stores that has the BOGOF offer on and to me it seems that it is all unboxed, uncared for tat that they can't shift at their over inflated price that you can get for free... £15 for an unboxed Mario kart 64..? I don't think so.... Admittedly isolated c...

Gamestations definetly a bargain, especially if you have access to one of the larger inner-city stores who are participating in the BOGOF retro games offer.

I'm currently playing Sonic 3D; only to prove wrong to the skill-less Gamestation assistant that claimed it's the worst and most difficult Sonic game

How is it possible to over-rate the ability to shoot Spanish peasants in the kneecaps? :D  Good point! Sonic series - The lure of the game is the speed, yet you are continually bashed over the head for failing to avoid obstacles you have no hope whatsoever of seeing in time. I sense a slight l...

Code Veronica was meant to be the best of them, but I'd couyldn't get into it I actually liked Resident Evil 3 though I didn't think Code Veronica knew whether it wanted to be different or not. As a big fan of Resident Evil, I personally hated it. The original three were the best for me. Resident Ev...

It always reminded me of Oddworld. While I'd prefer Oddworld, Heart of Darkness was certainly a good game - It was cinematic, and every event rolled smoothly into the next.
It was initially aimed at kids, which is surprising considering the difficulty level!

I don't understand the criticism of Resident Evil's controls. Left = Turn left Right = Turn right Up = Walk forward Down = Walk backward :? :?: I've always hated that rotational style of control. It doesn't feel as comfortable in the heat of the moment. Well that's fair enough - if you don't like i...

Beat me to it, and I wouldn't say it's unreasonable to call it one of the best games ever.

It has grown men pooing their pants; the soundtrack is amazing.
