Re: Top crisps from the past!

A picture has already been posted but the Fish n Chip shaped snacks were my favourite until they stopped making them :(

Re: RPGs on the 16 bit computers

I've had some great gaming moments playing the likes of the Eye of the Beholder and Ishar series on the Amiga. Black Crypt is supposed to be pretty good too.

Re: Space shooters

Starstrike and Starglider have already been mentioned, both classics. I quite liked Darklight Conflict back in the day.

Re: Your first console

My first console was the Mattel Intellivision not until about 1983 tho. Only had 7 games but they were classics like Astrosmash and Night Stalker :)

Re: SSX

I wasn't a big fan of Tricky to be honest. I preferred the original and SSX3. The new one at first glance looks alright but does feel cluttered.

Re: Poll: What console is the best console for 2D shoot em u

The PC Engine was made for 2D shooters although most of the other systems had plenty of good ones.

Re: Which book(s) are you currently reading?

I am now on the second Chris Jericho book, Undisputed. It's better than the first one and a great read whether you like wrestling or not.

Is Gigawing still on hold. If it doesn't go, what's the price?
Cheers

Re: R-Type - Amstrad CPC Remake!

Just reading some of these comments and it would be great to see some games just for the GX4000. This new version of R-Type is looking pretty sweet.

Congrats on reaching 100 marvellous issues. Always good to read about your fave retro machines and games as well as those you don't really know. Let's hope there is no end in sight to this formula.

Star Shooter and Super Star Shooter are great little Star Soldier clones. Worth getting for free :)

A Lion's Tale by Chris Jericho. Another good biography of a wrestler.
