Re: My TOP 100 Games of all time.

I posted my top 100 games of all time on my blog a few months back.

http://scooby1970.blogspot.com/2011/07/ ... me_13.html

I think there's a nice selection of old and new, and I have played each and everyone of these games many times.

Re: Final Fight or Streets Of Rage?

The Streets Of Rage games for me. The first game has one of my favourite soundtracks of all time, and its a game I run through from time to time. The second Streets Of Rage is also cool, and I also prefer this to Final Fight.

Re: Is PS2 "Retro"?

I struggle to find calling the PS2 retro, a lot of the games for it still look and feel very modern, games are still made for it and its still available to buy. I would class retro as before the PS1/Saturn era, as even these games are comparitivly modern if you think of the game play and not the gra...

Re: Sega Racing Classic aka Daytona USA 2011

Downloaded Daytona last night from PSN (along with Ikari Warriors and Angry Birds) and I I am loving it! That little HD-sheen they've added has done the game a world of good, and the handling is spot-on! Going to get a lot of gameplay from this, and not having any load-times means I can put my Satur...

Re: Uncharted 3 and the series in general.

Uncharted 2 is my favourite game ever. I've not played 3 yet, but if its even a tenth as good as the first two games I'll be more than happy. For me its a combination of all the parts that equals an unrivaled series. Never have I enjoyed a gaming experience so much, and that takes something with the...

Re: Did you write any AMOS / STOS games

Having woked my way up from programming on the ZX81 and Amstrad CPC machines, I found AMOS to be fun and easy to use. I wrote a number of games, and various utility programs (such as database programs and word-processors). I sold quite a few at local markets at the time, I've still got a few print o...

Re: Do you use 360 or PS3 for gaming?

I use my PS3 for gaming, and my 2 Xbox360's have been gathering dust for many months now. All my friends sold their 360's for PS3s and so we are all in one place. I also just prefer the whole PS3 experience and the joypad is more comfortable for me.

Re: Street Fighter Alpha Anthology PS2

You can't go wrong with this collection. It contains my favourite street fighter game, Alpha 3. The game plays perfectly on 60GB PS3s too, and it gets quite a hammering from me!

Re: SONIC GENERATIONS - Demo up on XBLA. A Quick run down

I honestly can't see what everyone is complaining about :? perhaps I'm just ignorant but to me the demo is running nice and smoothly. There's never a moment where he jerks in the air or noticeably slows down. I played the demo on both PS3 and 360 and I also seen no slow-down, screen tearing or stut...

Re: Hunchback

I used to play this for hours on end on my Amstrad CPC when I when it came out, and I really had fun with it. Recently my missus has been playing it, and she is so good at it! She gets to the end and repeats numerous times without losing any lives! Man, she makes it look so easy!

A mixture of both really. Everything from PS1/Saturn upwards on the genuine hardware and most of the stuff before on an emulator.

Re: Musicmagpie

I have sold around 200 CD's and about 10 games on Musicmagpie in the past. Most of the CDs I would have had hardly anything for anywhere else, and the games I'd bought from Cash Generators for .99p each. I made £140 off them, which I was more than happy with, better than the CDs and games gathering ...

Re: what console does nothing for you ?

For me, the console(s) that do nothing for me are the NES and the Wii. I've had both, several times, but they just do nothing at all for me.
