Re: Dolphin Emulator

I get amazing results with Dolphin on my i7 laptop with nVidia graphics card. It's a great emulator and so many games work well with it.

Re: I'm *almost* deffo buying next gen

I'm really excited about the PlayStation 4. I had a PS3 since launch (and 360 etc) and I've loved everything I've played on it. The Sony exclusives are just gob-smacking and really push the PS3 to it's limits, which in turn makes me want to have games that look even more beautiful and play even bett...

Is the iCade really worth it then? Are the joystick and the buttons good quality that will last a good few games of Street Fighter or R-Type?

Re: Is the Playstation 3 a failure

No-one has EVER been able to explain this to me... Loads of people have written that the Xbox is "better" online than the PS3. But no-one can explain why. The way I understand it, you have to pay to take your Xbox online, you don't for the PS3. Therefore for me, given that it's just as reliable, bo...

Re: Is the Playstation 3 a failure

No, the PlayStation 3 is in no way a failure. I've had a PS3 since launch and seen it grow from strength to strength. It's my console of choice, and owning and collecting so many consoles that really takes something. As been mentioned, it's sold well, all my mates in their 30's+ have one over other ...

Re: PS3s just how loud are they

I have a launch 60GB that still runs pretty quiet. My 360 and Dreamcast are far louder.

Re: Near the end of a generation: Wii, PS3 or Xbox 360?

Without a doubt the PS3, even though I own all three. The exclusives on PS3 have been awesome, the Singstar and Buzz games have brought the family together more than any other, the PS Move has given me the best alternative control of any system ever, PSN has given me the best downloaded content and ...

Re: What is your video game bias and how did you get it?

I'm one of those dinasaurs who has been gaming since the dawn of video games, and also one of those who has been lucky enough to have owned almost all systems at sometime during their life, quite often having numerous consoles at once. So, for me, if the games are good I'll play them on any system. ...

Re: The Walking Dead

I picked up "The Walking Dead - Book One" hardback graphic-novel the end of last week as I enjoyed the first TV series, and I'm about to watch season 2. The graphic novel is superb, miles better than the TV series. The artwork is great and the story is enjoyable, can't put the book down.

Re: Wii - Ghost Squad - awesome SEGA gun game. + best wii gu

Ghost Squad is just a fun game to pick up and play every so often. I really enjoy it. House of the dead overkill is ok, but the game seems broken somehow.. the crappy way the enemies die, and sometimes melt into nothing, and the aim is NEVER spot on like other games, no matter how many times I try ...

I'm currently reading "The Walking Dead - Book One" graphic novel. Its really cool, and much better than the TV series. I really enjoy my hard-back graphic novels, some great writing and amazing artwork.
