I've got a couple of spare md's so I'm going to give it a go. Seems to me, just from this thread, that there are a lot of top japan-only games so worth it IMO.

I have just bid on a fireshark and biohazard battle, which like witchfinder said seem to be the cheapest. Darius II i'd like but seems to be jap only. Does anyone know if there was a european/us release? Tapey, I like Hellfire and Gynoug, just played them both to death so just after some new blood. ...

Mega Drive Shoot 'em ups

Can anyone recommend me a good MD shoot 'em up?

I have Hellfire and Gynoug, they're ok, and I've played all those helicopter strike games as well as the Xenons. Are there any others out there that are decent...and cheap?

I've also played Thunderblade (which is naff) and Ranger X (which is ace)
