Re: Movies that never got games

Nothing directly based on Conan the Barbarian. There was going to be a Jaguar game based on Conan The Barbarian, a scrolling beat 'em up no less. You can see it in this video if you skip to 2:52 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgBRt1Or0cY I was gutted when it never got released :( Looks very Gold...

Re: From The Forum issue 180 - Favourite Bitmap Brothers Game

Cadaver by a long shot. I was obsessed with it enough to map it out and write up a game solution, which is still kicking about the internet 20 years later.

Hi,

Just wondering how long does it take for subscription deliveries to Australia (state capital)?
Still waiting for my first delivery, issue 177, which is already available at newsagents.

Thanks
It's wildly variable.
I've had them turn up almost a month after being available in newagents.

Tracking lateness

This is not a snipe, but I thought it might be useful to track lateness of delivery for overseas issues.

I suggest when you recieve an issue, you post the date receieved, issue number, country and region so we have some hard data on delivery problems.

Re: Retro Gamer issue 176

Hi everyone - has anyone out Australia or New Zealand way received their subscribed copy of this issue yet? I haven't seen a thing, and have noticed several people complaining on facebook about similar. If others out this way have received them then I'll lodge a complaint - as its been close to 6 w...

Re: Classic Arcade Games with Unforgiving Controls

I cant for the life of me think of it right now but there was some game - or games - on the C64, big title as well, that needed the space bar to jump. it was ridiculous, you had to use joystick as well as keyboard, i'd use my feet at the time. But I cannot remember what it was.. or maybe it was spa...
