They couldn't scan the barcode on my copy either. I spot a definite trend there. :)

Ah yes, I remember this one too on the C64, it was a great compilation. I used to spend hours playing Gumshoe and Beam Rider. I was really rather good at Beam Rider! I played it again a few months back and couldn't figure out what kept me at it, but then I guess times have moved on... I also had a b...

I used to buy dozens of Wham! bars and sell them on at school for a profit. The lady in the newsagents must have thought I had a serious addiction.

One thing I did find during the Wham! bar phase of my life is that they taste quite nice if you eat them with grapes. :-)

Actually, yes -- they're extremely easy to change. At the top of each page is a big chunk of CSS mark-up, which defines the colours and presentation of the whole page. One of the sections is as follows: td.row3Right,td.spaceRow { background-color: #F5F5F5; border: #FFFFFF; border-style: solid; } If ...

The forum style-sheet

I have to say, I do like the presentation of the new RG forum. However the one thing that I don't like about it is that it's quite hard to see where each post starts and finishes. Is there any chance that whoever works on the style-sheet could make a slight modification to make the posts easier to v...

It was The Hobbit for me, the game that made me long to have a Spectrum more than anything else in the world. I played it at a friend's house and it was like disappearing into another world. Not having my own Spectrum was torture, but fortunately my parents took pity on me and I got one that Christm...

Ah, a lucky guess at a URL, and here's a new Retro Gamer forum. :)

Counting the days now -- the launch of NRG is a bigger event than Christmas if you ask me.

Still no offer of any free issues though. :-(
