Re: Crash Bandicoot

Ive recently been playing the first three games again, and I kind of wish I hadent. I loved them when they first came out, but the camera is annoying as hell. On the whole the first two in general have aged fairly badly for me. I do still like the Crash games, but no where near as much as I did bac...

Re: Cool Trainers you remember

Sorry to bring up this old thread again but here are some more (the ones I sport these days to be exact): http://www.bayareakicks.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/nike_vandal_hi_vintage_shoe.jpg Kyle Reese from the original Terminator inspired me to take my old Vandals out of the closet. http://images...

Re: PS2 Starter's Guide

1) Well, the pro's for importing PS2 games mainly center around the fact that they can be ran in 60Hz mode (providing you have a compatible TV and an RGB scart lead) which is about 20% faster than 50Hz (I think) and means no black borders at the top and bottom of the screen. Also, there are some PA...

PS2 Starter's Guide

I've been thinking about buying the small PlayStation 2 which is dead cheap now (€100). It would be my first PS2. Assuming that most members have experience with a PS2 I have some questions before the purchase. Any help is very appreciated. 1) I used to be a big fan of imported PS1 games. But is it ...

Astro Go! Go! (a SNES obscurity apparently lost to posterity) Haha, thanks for this. What a game. "Meldac," never heard of this company before. Have you found a ROM image for it? I had one back in the days of my SNES with Super Wildcard but have never found one since. Coop I just googled it and had...

^^ That's one ugly alien looking anorexic woman in that video. I thought TR3 to have rather nice looking graphics. Did you like the song? Yeah, I was only referring to the first two games so sorry about that. Come to think of it, I recall they updated the engine for part 3. Had to do somethin...

I've never played any of them, but I heard that the multi platform Gex games are much better on the PSX. Same for the FIFA series.

Thanks.

After enjoying the emulation, I've really been pondering a purchase. 8)

I saved some money now.

I occasionally play Tomb Raider I to III (especially the second one) on PSX for reasons of nostalgia. It's still fun I think. But damn, it's INCREDIBLE how the graphics have aged. Most 3D PSX games look dated but the TR series takes the cake. Sometimes everything looks like a huge mess of pixels, bl...
