Re: Atari Lynx recommendations

Add another vote for Todd's Adventure in Slime World, War Birds, Blue Lightning, Toki and Lemmings, though it seems to be a rather expensive little cartridge to get hold of. Oh, and you must have a look at the brilliant arcade conversion of Rampart and Chip's Challenge . Oh, oh, Super Sweek is brill...

That Amsoft mascot (of sorts) is quite recognizable too...

Re: Speccy level for Little Big Planet players.

Something thematic might be nice. Like a stroll through Ultimate games. Or -why not be contemporary and modern?- perhaps something covering the visually metallic games of the Bitmap Brothers.

Re: Speccy level for Little Big Planet players.

Absolutely amazing. Actually, playing this level is worth buying a PS3 for!

Thanks a ton!

Re: Mario Kart Wii 'licence selection'

Many thanks for the reply Gnome - I'll pass the info on. I was concerned there as I think I recall reading elsewhere about attempts to nail down the second hand market... Glad to be of help good sir. And it is true that them game corps would love to see the second hand market vanish. Greedy bastard...

Re: Mario Kart Wii 'licence selection'

I'm pretty sure it's not. License is simply (well, I think, haven't played it for the last few months) what Mario Kart Wii likes to call a player's profile. Besides it's all stored locally and I didn't have any trouble playing the thing on a friends Wii.

Always thought the reviews were excellent. That and the fact that HOTU was championing some truly obscure games mean it will be missed. Quite a bit.

A YouTube video of your creation would be nice for us PS3-less prols.

Oh, and it does sound like a brilliant idea!

No, not really, though I did feel rather bad at myself and my distinct lack of in-game ethics while playing Vampire: Bloodlines. Then again, playing a vampire sort of excused everything.

Lynx obviously. Everything looks shinier and better on Atari's glorious handheld. Everything! Well, provided it's one of the handful of games released that is.

Besides the obvious nostalgia factor of being reminded of Alley Cat, this is an excellent site indeed, with some extremely well produced videos. Keep it up!

Oh, and do a King's Quest I video too please...

Nope, not insane, simply rare!
