Re: Retroaction issue 2

And I think I'd remind everyone that all feedback is appreciated; not only the positive kind, though it does make us smile.

And -if I may say so myself- it's our best issue so far. Then again we only had two... Oh, well... Hope everyone enjoys!

Re: Gobliiins 4?

From what I've seen it's a proper Gobliiins game with -if I may- some of the best puzzles in the series. The humour works well too and the only thing that was slightly irritating were those, well, awful 3D graphics.

Re: Official feedback for Issue 63

Only got the issue yesterday (that's a new low for the greek postal service, mind) and it really is another excellent offering. Especially appreciated that odd trek through Manic Miner's lost screens, the new look of the Desert Island Disks bit and the fact I actually read the words "Karl Liebknecht...

Re: Sources for UK console sales?

I'll have to agree with you on Wikipedia, though based only on a not particularly rational *feel*. As for the author, well, unless I've missed it he doesn't site his sales sources. Mind you, I'd really be interested in reading what you finally discover. Think vgcharts.com carries info like that?

Re: Sources for UK console sales?

Wish I could actually help you with your research, but I actually can't do much beside suggesting you have a look at The Encyclopedia of Game.Machines book. Seems pretty accurate (no apparent reason for claiming that, but the book is generally excellent, mind) and seems to make estimates on worldwid...

Amazing... It's enough to open a retro gaming store really... Might even turn out to be a huge bargain too.

yes according to wiki only 20 thousand cd add ons made it out to the wild
Hmmm... that's why the thing is so ridiculously expensive then. From what I hear, not all of them work properly either...

It's a fantastic two player game and the best version of Pong ever. Also the thing truly shined in the arcades.

Re: Robin Hood - Conquests of the longbow

Ah, yes, Sierra's Robin Hood game. Looked absolutely stunning in its 256 VGA colours, played like a dream and even featured some then-impressive AdLib (SoundBlaster for the lucky ones) music. Possibly one of the best adventures Sierra ever produced.
