Around 40 rarer Commodore 16 plus 4 games as I try for a complete set. Including Anco Demolition which I thought never actually got a release. Think the Anco games will be impossible to source

And PS4 Dead or Alive in the charity shop

Re: Tiger Road - US versions?

Merman the US PC Engine Tiger Road was different to the jap version as it was made far easier and did away with randomly spawning enemies. Every 1 credit replay on Twitch is the US version, allegedly the jap version it’s impossible to pass level 4 as enemies spawn over you as ultimate jump. PC engin...

Re: Konami shoot 'em ups

The US Konami releases where made so hard there impossible just designed to eat your money. The Contra collection is the same but it has the option to play the far better Japanese version. So Megadrive Hardcorps the jap version you have an energy that you can take 3 hits. The American version you di...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 200

DRS your interview with Mathew Smith was superb and I can very much related to Mathew. I think a lot of people have rose tinted glasses to bedroom programmers whilst Matt says it’s not really as good as people think. Chasing publishers to get payed. One of the best issues I read In a long time. I th...

Re: Samurais & Ninjas

There must be hundreds of Ninja/Samurai games out there but some of the obvious ones are Shinobi (personal favourites are Revenge of Shinobi and Shinobi III on Megadrive, but you can't really go wrong with Shinobi in general), Last Ninja on various home computers and the Tenchu games on PS1/PS2. I ...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

I've been playing tons of Friday the 13th The Game this year, so for Halloween it made sense to finally check out more of the movies. Only saw the first 2 before, but they brought out a blu ray recently with the first 8 movies. So in a short summery, and by 80s slasher film standards. 1- Decent 2- ...
