Re: The worse conversions aching to be remade

Slap Fight - the Amiga could have had an arcade perfect port of this classic shump, but it was never released. thank goodness the horrible ST version was not ported to the Amiga. It's just a shame more great arcade games weren't ported, or were crappy ST ports. Just think how good Nemesis/Gradius, F...

Re: Carrier Command: Gaea Mission

There is a demo available now: http://www.carriercommand.com/buy/ It's not a bad game just too many flaws. Controls and targeting are horrible, and the graphics a dusty and washed out. I liked the peaceful atmosphere and green islands in the original. Why do all modern games think that greys and bro...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 108 Official Feedback

Looks to be an excellent issue, I am looking forward to reading every article. Loved the Terrorpods cover (Shame it doesn't appear to be in the Pysgnosis article on my first scan through).

Has anyone tried this yet. Just noticed it on Steam and it looks okay. Think I'll wait until the winter sale and buy it for a fiver though!

Re: Should RG cover Android games?

Surely an article about the fantastic Android emulation scene, (especially FPSE) would be of much more interest to most readers, than reviews of semi-retro related iOS games?

Sword of Sodan on the Amiga, the graphics blew me away at the time, not much game play, but I loved it.

Re: LIST! 5 Consoles, 5 Games

C64 === 1. Summer Games - best multi-player ever 2. Bubble Bobble - Best Arcade conversion at the time 3. Uridium - Paradroid gets all the love, but this is my fav Braybrook game 4. Delta - Get criticized for being over-rated, but I love it, and it has the best soundtrack of any game ever 5. Hawkeye...

Re: Another PS3 model (even slimmer & smaller)

What a ripoff for a near 6 year old console, ESP the 12gb version which works out at £185 which is already more than the slim 160gb version, but with even cheaper drive and only 12gb hdd...so what's that 2 mandatory game installs before its full!? Never seen such a useless console model in my life....

Re: Resident Evil 6 - Oh God what have they done?!!!

I never understood what all the fuss was about 4, I hated it and thought 5 was even worse. The last good Resi game for me was Codename Veronica on the DC

Re: GAH! I think my PS3 is dying..any suggestions?

My PS3 YLoD on me 6 months go. Still got LA Noir in the drive, but worst of all lost 60 hours of Grandia (PS1) save. I was playing the game really slowly and just about at the end.

Re: Best Psygnosis Games

Hired Guns was one of the most atmospheric rpgs on the Amiga. I loved the 4 player mechanic. It's just a shame is was never as popular as DM and EOB. There was a PC follow up started, but it was never completed. :(

Ourun (Arcade) opening level. The combination of Blue sky, sand, sea and the music took me away to another place.

Android Retro Goodness

I recently upgraded from an iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy Note, and I cannot say how impressed I am with this Phablet. The screen size is huge and the Android OS gives you so much more freedom than IOS - granted somethings are a little clunkier but the pros far out way the cons. The combination of a la...
