Re: Spectrum Screenshot Challenge

I got 69 too.

There was some Tarzan/Jungle game that I got wrong which looked to be C64, and the Hobbit looked like it could be CPC

Re: What are you currently playing?

Currently playing:

the Longest Journey
Rayman Origins
Torchlight II
Tomb Raider Anniversary
Max Payne 3
Mass Effect 3
Psychonauts
Skyrim
Supermeat Boy
Trine 2
Jet Set Radio
Bastion

Think I should concentrate on one game at a time rather than getting nowhere in 12 games.

Re: Steam Sale - December

Legend of Grimrock at £2.99 and Super Meat Boy is also £2.99 in a flash sale for the next hour and a half. I almost wish I didn't have these games so I could buy them at that price. :)

Got to agree Kula World is a seriously good game. I have it running on my phone under FPSE and it plays like a peach

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 110 Official Feedback

Was really worried when I saw the cover, I expected an issue full of the same old Nin*$&do coverage. However, I could not have been more wrong. This has to be the best issue in a long time for me, SWOS, Music Men, Scumm and Bullfrog. It just goes to show don't judge a magazine by the cover. Great is...

Re: Gaming PC's - To Build or Buy?

Back in the day I used to always build my own PCs and it is good fun with a sense of achievement. Don't know if I am just to lazy to shop around but my last PC I bought an off the shelf Dell. My PC is over 3 years old with a GTX8800 and still plays most of the latest games at full settings. Just loo...

Re: HUMBLE THQ BUNDLE

Bought this last night too. It really is a crazy deal; at the present average you need to pay just £3.57 for all of the games plus SR3 -which is presently £29.99 on Steam. My only complaint is that my backlog after the Steam sale is already bad enough, once I've finished Max Payne 3 and Torchlight 1...

I bought 'Max Payne 3' in the recent Steam sale and that weighs in at a huge 29GB.

Re: Indie Game: The Movie

Just watched "Indie Game: The movie" and "King of Kong" on Netflix. Both great movies and well worth a watch if you subscribe. I have already bought Fez and Braid, but feel obliged (and want) to buy Super Meat boy Now -although I am going to be tight and wait until it's next on sale on Steam. :) I'...

Re: Your Top 3 desired sequels that you know will never get

Suikoden VI (but a 2d game in the style of I and II).
Monkey island 3 as a true follow up to 1 and 2 - although I do like 3
A new Jak and Dextar game

I do realise that all of the above have follow UPS of done sort but not the ones I want :)

Awesome Tribute to Video Games

Just found this on Reddit and thought it was worth a repost. It totally blew me away and I actually watched the whole 9 minute video twice. It is unbelievable what goes into US college sports, but this is just something else. I won't say much so you can be a surpised as I was. http://www.youtube.com...
