Hmmm, interesting one this. Seeing the adverts for the Megadrive made me want to get one. I've never 'changed' consoles, as I still fire up my Speccy and Megadrive quite regularly. But I bought a PS1 PURELY just because I played Grand Theft Auto at a friends house and fell in love with it! I bought ...

This is a good question!

For me, the most beautiful games I've played would be

New Zealand Story
Trap Door
Defender of the Crown
Golden Axe
Road Rash
Ecco The Dolphin
GTA Vice City
Warcraft III

There's loads more, but those are the ones that spring to mind...

5? Only 5?

This is too hard :x

Jack The Nipper
Knightmare
All Points Bulletin
Finders Keepers
Auf Wiedersehen Monty

Ask me agin in 10 minutes, and I'll probably come up with another list!

Jack The Nipper would still be number 1 though :D

Ohh, nasty, you're making me choose!

It would have to be the Speccy!

Although, I may sneakly run out of the house with my Megadrive tucked in my jumper

I do play mostly retro games, be it on my Speccy or Megadrive emulators. Sometimes, I do fire up the original machines themselves, and they still work perfectly! I'm not really that keen on modern gaming. Don't get me wrong, over the last few years there have been some GREAT games, Grand Theft Auto,...

Wow! This question really is at the heart of my Retro Gaming.

I got a Spectrum 48K in 1986 when I was 5, and the first two games I really loved playing were Dizzy and Jack The Nipper, and I was entralled!

Jack The Nipper is still my all time favourite game!

I got a gameboy way back in 1990.

A few of my favourite games were

Super Mario World
WWF Superstars
Double Dragon
Boomer's Adventure in ASMIK World
Tetris
Zelda

Just to list a couple.

I still play my Game Boy to this day.

I never had a C64, but US Gold did release some really good titles for the speccy such as Bruce Lee, Beach-Head, Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom, Gauntlet, Out Run and Indiana Jones.

I liked US Gold.

It would be nice if they brought out a compilation on the PS 2 like Atari or Activision did...

I would say the Megadrive for me!

I also really liked the Kempston as well.

Still use them both too, if I fancy a bit of REAL gaming as opposed to emulation!

Happy New Year by the way!

I love the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and have seen the stage show about 7 or 8 times!

The game doesn't have that much to do with the film, much like The Young Ones doesn't really have a great deal to do with the TV show.

However, the game is great fun, and I still play it now on my emulator.

I was never a big fan of Punch Out, except I thought the training segments were quite cool!

I have this game, and wasn't that big a fan of of it, as its just Punch Out with Big Frank.

It's still quite fun though I S'pose.

I agree about the 6 Billion Speccy Posts.

We should be making it 10 Billion posts!

One of my favourite loading screens was APB

I thought it was a great one

Jack The Nipper was a good 'un, as was Finders Keepers.
