Re: Mega SG

Hipster Megadrive.

Looks like it'll blow all those Atgames emulation machines out of the water at any rate.

Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread

Tempted to pick one up now they are "retro". Not sure I'd bother hacking it unless there's anything emulator-wise it can do that the psp can't. I'd probably just play Football Manager & Everybody's Golf on it & I've already got a psp for that, unless either game's vastly better on the Vita. Will hav...

Re: What System would you like a 'Classic' console for?

A PC Engine mini would be incredible, it's criminal that the original machine was never released here, it would right a wrong & I'd definitely pick one up, especially if it had some of the CD games on it.

I'll be there, will be the first event I've gone to in ages.

Always preferred the Blackpool events & this seems more retro focused, which is great.
I'll see you there then mate!

Great stuff. Really looking forward to this one. :D

Re: Spectrum Vega Plus Poll

Cheers Matt, that's pretty useful info there. I'd love a Next but I really don't think I'd invest the time and love it deserves for such an outlay at this point... Optimistically thinking if at some point it is available on the mass market maybe by that time I can afford one I'll have a bit more fre...

Re: Spectrum Vega Plus Poll

So slightly tangential to the $h*tshow that is the Vega+, I see the original Vega is down to 49 quid in Argos...quite tempted, but probably still about 20 quid too much.

Anyone got one...thoughts?

Les Dennis. You know what's weird. In double acts, it's always the more talented/funnier one that goes first... Dustin Gee went before Les Dennis Morecambe went before Wise, Ronnie Barker went before Ronnie Corbett Peter Cook went before Dudley Moore John Belushi went before Dan Aykroyd If I was Pa...

Re: Questions For David Mullich

I was fascinated to read about Principles of Fear recently. What was it like working with Wes Craven and does anything exist of the project that has been used elsewhere?

Indeed, how do those scruffy working class oiks get along in their squalid little houses with a patch of grass to call a garden?

Re: From The Forum issue 183 - Tetris: Best puzzler ever?

Tetris is not a puzzle game, there's nothing to solve, it's a twitch reaction arcade game. But in term of "Tetris style" games, there's been like a billion clones each trying to add their own (Dr) Spin to proceedings. Although there are some interesting variations, most of the gimmicks are pretty un...
