Re: Master System must haves?

Just acquired a Master System, was always a big fan but never owned one before. (I went straight from the Speccy to the Megadrive). Anyway just necromancing this thread for ideas for games...so many great posters who've long gone from the forum, shame really. But I digress, recommend me games 2019 R...

Wanted: Atari 2600 Soccer games

Hello, a bit of a long shot, but any of you folk have any of the cr@p Atari 2600 Soccer games in your collections taking up space? Ideally ones that work, but have scuffed up ripped/torn labels, I'm looking to relabel them with homemade labels. I've not got much in the way of swaps ( a copy of Starm...

Re: Is the Wii U still worth getting in 2019?

It's the most modern console I own. There are some things it does exceptionally well, but it never seemed to get the love or support it deserved. As soon as the Switch was announced, it seemed to be dead in the water. As well as the first party games, it works great for the lego games, when I'm play...

Re: Today

People who abbreviate "etcetera" as "ect" instead of "etc".

I didn't realise this was a thing until recently, but a quick search on Twitter reveals there are THOUSANDS of people doing it.

I know there's a lot more in the world to be angry about, but this has pushed me over the edge.

Re: What works with an Amazon stick

I do have one of those Bluetooth Speccy Keyboards, but I've never got round to pairing it with the firestick. I like the idea of playing spectrum games on it but I'm not sure it's worth the faff of sideloading emulators & whatnot. I am very lazy. Would be nice if you could use QAOPspace with the gam...

Re: What works with an Amazon stick

I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing I've got a firestick & was going to buy the sega bundle. https://www.digitalspy.com/tech/best-tech-deals/a25581262/play-sonic-amazon-fire-tv-sega-classics/ And the joypad is currently very cheap in Debenhams at the minute... https://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/...

Really odd to see my non-computer geeky friends discussing Bandersnatch in the last few days.

I wonder what these files would fetch today.

Re: Sonic retro bundle

Unless your PC is over a decade old or broken, you might do better than you think as all the games in the $1 tier have very low system requirements. Funny you shpuld say that, it's 11 years old and I have to selotape the power lead in so it doesn't switch itself off when I'm using it.  a...

Re: What did you buy at the carboot today ??

Got my first bargain in yonks in our local charity shop. I picked up Super Mario 64 DS for a quid. The woman behind the counter said it was actually 2 games for a pound at the minute, but there was nothing much else there & besides I felt bad enough as it was getting it for a quid so I didn't want t...
