Crafton and Zunk on the 464 - which is the only isometric game I actually owned and is therefore best I've played.

(does watching my mate play knightlore over his shoulder on his speccy count? No.....didnt think so....)

I think we all agree the feature shouldn't be a free advert for any of the shops - but I'd love it to be more a q&a:

what's the rarest thing they've sold?

which old system is most popular with customers?

that sort of thing maybe.

Help remembering name of old footy game

Can anyone help me remember of a footy title I used to play back in the day? All I can remember is that is was on either megadrive or sega master system, and that the players had hilarious names like darby swanson and manny steinberg. game would have been out around 1992 ish - though could have been...

this is a great thread.

I've been thinking of putting together a complete master system collection for a while, as basically as it seems the cheapest console to collect for. I think a complete NES or SNES collection, whilst desirable, would be the road to financial doom... :?

you really cant go wrong with most Neo Geo pocket titles - it's a great little machine - I use it more than I do my PSP.

You can get some cheap four game in 1 packs off of ebay - cartridges only but good value.

Looks like there's a pretty even split on this - though 2/3 of people so far do want some coverage either in monthly or one-off form.

I think you'll be happy with Parodius PSP Cannibal BOB, it's one of the few PSP games I play regularly.

Anyone know if PSP Salamander or SNK Arcade collection are any good?

RETRO GAMING SHOPS

I saw in another thread how many retro gamers would love to know more about the independent gaming shops out their selling retro. Most towns have one or two small places (except curiously central London itself). Anyone else think this could make a good recurring featuring (maybe replace collectors c...

I was just trying to be polite Clarance - if something appears in the mag then as a reader/subscriber I think I have a right to make reasonable criticism of it. I shouldn't be in the position of having to 'cover myself' against offending a fellow retro gamer who is probably a very nice guy but an aw...

I think we all need to put our heads on our desks for 5 minutes 'calm time'.

and then we can get back to really important debate about how the cpc464 was the best 8 bit to run programmes or programs on
