Re: 'random niceness' thread

Anybody want this? It'll be dumped otherwise.

In theory, it came with an old issue of RG. In practice, I nicked it out of the skip when I used to work at a supermarket.

Re: Can we have less Nintendo love for a while

Maybe I'm being cynical, but the editor seems to have a huge love of Nintendo and it's current systems and I guess, he could like all of us get a bit carried away over something we love. It's more to do with the fact that Nintendo more than any other publisher at the moment is bringing out games ba...

Re: NoE with another balls-up - OoT 3DS this time..

Due to Nintendo of Europe not working weekends (yes, seriously) this matter has been presumably sat in someone's inbox ever since they clocked off at 5pm on Friday and won't be dealt with until at least Monday morning. This is what makes this really interesting for me. Imagine what's going to happe...

Re: What are you currently playing?

F***ing Majora's Mask. I can go from hating it to loving it to hating it within the space of a few hours. And yesterday I was cleaning out a second-hand N64 I picked up at a car boot sale two years ago, in order to sell it, and found an expansion pack jammed into its port. So now I can play my cart...

Re: Official Feedback Issue 91

I like that cover.

All this Zelda and Sonic stuff should keep me buzzing until year's end, the haters can have their issues now :P

Interesting to see these long 8+ pages articles returning - or did I imagine that they had vanished?

Re: Zelda anniversary collection axed

Fine by me. That Mario collection was a rip. And Four Swords is one of the Zeldas I've never managed to play so I'll take that gleefully.

Re: Tom And Jerry Censored

Stuff like this is annoying but it only really p1sses me off when they decide to censor all of the DVD releases too. Aren't many of the Street Fighter II animated movie releases censored too? (would love to know which versions aren't btw). It's like they want us to start downloading (the complete) ...

Re: Ice lollies etc

My summers spent at my grandmother's farm were defined by the term "sucky pop," which is what my six-year-old cousin called Mr. Freezes (those rods of coloured ice you had to suck out of a tube). 'Course ours were half-size, generic, multipack ones bought in a supermarket and doled out to us if we w...

The Legend of Zelda probably had the best 8-bit memory (har har).

Re: 360 Themes

Themes are something I've never thought about. I'm pretty sure I use the default (my console's on extended loan to my brother). I doubt I'd pay for something. Like the avatar costumes, that sort of non-essential vanity is something I'd do for free but never bother paying for.

Re: 360 avatars

I haven't bought a thing and don't imagine I ever will. Any kind of paid-for avatar customization strikes me as a complete waste of money. On the other hand, I am a major Street Fighter completist and have bought the in-game costumes. That does make me a bit of a hypocrite, I think. Can't resolve it...

Re: What are you currently playing?

These last few weeks I've been going through every Zelda game I own. I'm playing the Gamecube edition of Majora's Mask on my Wii at the moment. One of the few Zelda games I'd never really tried before. I realise there's a certain irony in the fact that it keeps crashing on me, stripping hours of wor...

Re: Views on the Upcoming Thundercat Re-make?

Well, if it's even half as good as the My Little Pony remake... :p I'm actually okay with remakes. Animation has come a looong way since the eighties. I absolutely love the Real Ghostbusters; when I was a kid, not the Thundercats, not He-Man, not even the Transformers came anywhere close to my passi...
