Re: Shortest amount of time you owned a game or console

Fighting Force. I was getting a Playstation for Christmas, and I knew the bundle I was getting, so I treated myself with the money from pre Christmas overtime to a game on Christmas Eve. Beat it by lunchtime on Christmas Day, took it back to Woolworths on Boxing Day morning and swapped it for Fifa 98.

Re: Best "Kart" racer?

For me it was close, Super Mario Kart or Street Racer. The latter is an insanely fun and overlooked racer, and the Mae modes like rumble and football are a great twist that work well.

Also, does anyone remember Skunny Kart? Played it on the PC years ago. Really fun little game.

Re: It's xmaaaaaaaaaaaas! (well, soon-ish)

I'm excited for Christmas already. Last year was crap because I had a swollen disk in my back which kicked in on the 23rd December which caused unbearable pain and resulted in me lying on the floor for the whole Christmas. Plus on the 16th I got crazy stomach pains and had to go home from work, and ...

Vince basically gave him chances out of respect cause he was a von erich when I was in school it used to drive...

Re: just found these in my parents loft......

Some good ones there, spanning several series. I loved the solid vinyl WCW ones that you have in there too.

I've still got all mine, and my 3 year old loves getting them and the ring out and having a play.

Re: Your fave 90s game system

For me it's a toss up. From a nostalgic point of view it would be either Megadrive or SNES. Glorious times with those machines and me and my friends would spend every waking moment playing them. But the Playstation just screams 90s to me. It transcends video games and becomes an iconic piece of pop ...

Re: The system/console you feel most sentimental about

The ones for me are Game Boy, Megadrive and SNES. They just remind me of my childhood. Got a GB when i was 10, my Megadrive when I was 11 and SNES when I was 12 and to this day they bring me straight back to those times. I've got a nostalgic tale attached to pretty much every game I've ever owned on...

Re: Systems that you had no interest in and still don't

I'm going against the grain as far as this thread goes and saying the Spectrum and the C64. Whilst I don't "dislike" ether of the 2, as a kid my 2 closest friends had the afore mentioned machines, and neither of them interested me. I had an CPC 464 and I just felt my machine was better. Now a days, ...
