Re: Yoshis Island - WOW!

Although the Snes was still my current machine when it came out, I never bothered with it. I bought it when it came out on the GBA, and again didn't bother with it. Then one day I stuck it in my DS when I went to work, and it just hit me. I obsessed over it and didn't touch another game until I'd be...

Re: I wish I had that back

Once when we had a skip I chucked my Dreamcast, approximately 20 games, 2 pads with vmu's, arcade stick, keyboard and fishing rod just because I didn't use it anymore. Although its a console that's never really done anything for me, it's just so wasteful. That arcade stick was beautiful. And my Amst...

Re: Whats your "go to" game(s)?

Its been Skate 3 for ages. just free skate around and relax. stopping off when i see something interesting and seeing what tricks can be done with it. But Since i got a JXD tablet for Christmas, I can go back to some of my old go to games. Mainly Soul Blade, Super Mario Kart, Wrestlefest and Interna...

Re: Things you loved as a kid that you now hate.

Ham and Pineapple pizza. It's a pizza with fruit! Back then it was awesome, now it's horrible. Mushrooms. I used to have a big tin of them on toast. Now I couldn't do that for a million quid. Disgusting. Anything flavoured "fruits of the forest" Sonic 2. Thought this was astounding when it first cam...

Re: It's xmaaaaaaaaaaaas! (well, soon-ish)

What annoys me is how virtually all music channels on Sky stop playing Christmas music after Christmas Day. Sure the day itself has happened but its still the Christmas period dammit! Haha, same on the radio. It's as if Christmas never happened! I must admit I was quite sad on sunday when the digit...

Re: It's xmaaaaaaaaaaaas! (well, soon-ish)

Took the decorations down today. :-( Still in a good mood because Crimbo Limbo as it is often referred to is always fun. My son is having a ball getting used to all his new stuff and im enjoying the great telly and messing with the things Santa bought me, and im still gorging on the seemingly endles...

Re: jxd s7800b

Got a JXD for Christmas and I've been very impressed. No happy chick on it but I'd rather use other emulators so that's not a problem, and I've got all my roms on my laptop so just drag and dropped them onto the JXD. Have to mention classic boy. A great emulator for lots of machines, I use it for PS...

Re: Christmas Rituals

I watched Home Alone twice on Sunday, and again yesterday. And on the 14th I'm going to Odeon because they're doing a 25th anniversary screening of Home Alone. Can't wait to see it on the big screen again. On Christmas Eve I read my little boy my old copy of The Night Before Christmas. It means the ...

Put the decorations up today, our 3 year old loved helping.

Disaster though, as I'd got everything out the loft, and I insist on having Home Alone on when were doing the Christmas stuff, and I'VE LOST MY DVD!! So I went on Sky Buy and Keep, so managed to have it on after all.

Re: Unsavoury Carboot incident.

I know some people who regularly sell at a big car boot sale, and the tales they have are crazy. Apparently some buyers stand in the car park with binoculars spying on the sellers setting up. That to me is creepy and quite tragic. In response to the OP. perfectly understandable to lose your rag, esp...

Re: Has anyone ever sold off their RG collection?

When the wife was pregnant my games room was becoming the nursery so I just wanted them out of the way. I sold about 6 years worth for 60 quid. I never used to read any cover to cover, or re read any articles, so it made sense to get them gone.

Re: wrestling

Less than 5 hours to go until the Hogan event at Sheffield. Mega excited!!!! How was it? Brilliant. A fair wait but worth it. Hogan was very welcoming and although your 1 to 1 time was quite brief, he seemed genuinely glad to meet everyone. Really pleased with my picture and autograph. The others (...

Re: What are your kids after this Christmas?

My 3 year old son loves my ipad so were getting him a leap pad. He's had a go on one and loved it so we know hell be happy. And his current obsession is Paw Patrol on Nick Jr so he's getting some more of that stuff. And maybe a bike because he's getting the hang of peddling, but he's not 100% confid...

Re: It's xmaaaaaaaaaaaas! (well, soon-ish)

Yesterday, MTV Classic became MTV Xmas. So it's now OFFICIALLY Christmas in my house!

I even recorded the start so I could see the logo appear in the corner.
