Re: What grinds your gears ?

People who use the word "privilege" to justify their hang ups and grievances. "Thin privilege. White privilege. Male privilege". Never heard of such crap. For example I saw a video yesterday where an obese feminist was ranting about having to pay for an extra seat on an aeroplane and blamed it on th...

Re: What did you want to be when you grew up?

A lumberjack I once got thrown out of a careers advice lesson for saying I wanted to be a lumberjack. Mind you the previous lesson I'd told her I wanted to be a professional darts player, and before that a cushion tester. I hated our careers advisor because if you didn't know at 15 what you wanted ...

Re: wrestling

Personally I really enjoyed Summerslam. I didn't really like the Lesnar/Orton ending though, but on the whole I liked it. I haven't watched any NXT since the draft so I'm keen to catch up and see how it is now. Doing a 14 hour shift today then 3 days off so tomrrow will consist of sofa/coffee/naps/i...

That a woman at work I've been calling Rachel for 3 years is actually called Sue. Yet she's never thought to correct me, plus she answers to Rachel.

Re: What grinds your gears ?

I'd hardly call Quashquis and Mokkas "fashionable". I see them as "regular" smaller SUVs. Neither would I but I'm often seeing them driven by the types who think they are fashionable (girls motoring around in them while on phones). Horrible, ugly vehicles. Another one is idiots that decide to switc...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Driving right on the speed limit in a 30mph zone and seeing an idiot behind zooming up at a much higher speed before being right up your backside, clearly eager to do 40 or 50 instead. It becomes somewhat amusing when they're in front and you can watch them slam their brakes on for a speed camera b...

Re: wrestling

The one of me and Hogan is a bit blurred because I took it straight after I'd met him and I was shaking. Top thing on my bucket list crossed off. Lanny Poffo came onstage (ooh er) and he and Hogan told some old tales. Riveting. The show is on Youtube. Search Hulk Hogan Sheffield if you fancy watchin...

Re: Most important football games of all time?

No Street Gang Football?

For me it's ISS on the Snes. I still play that now as much as I did then. And deluxe is amazing with its 7 a side option. Me and a mate spent a whole summer playing that.

Re: Stopping Myself Rage Quitting

I play online FPS games a fair bit and I don't rage quit because I don't take it seriously enough. I quit through frustration if I've got a terrible team on occasion though because if you've got 7 team mates who don't know their arse from their elbow then it ruins the game. Although I don't take it ...

Re: Mario 2

I love it. A year or two later I got the Mario All Stars pack in with my SNES at Christmas and was pleased to find it there, finally I could play it again. It got much more play than the 'real' Mario 2, I know that much. This. I got some games bundled with my Snes but All Stars was the first game I...
