Re: What grinds your gears ?

The fact that the shops are now filling with Christmas stuff. The fact that the music channels don't have their Xmas channel on yet Come on people I can only listen to them on my phone for so long I WANT THE VIDEOS TOO For me when the Christmas music channels start is the OFFICIAL start of Christma...

Re: Your Unpopular Opinion!

I don't actually mind GBBO, there are far far worse programmes on TV. Whilst I am a fan of cake (insert Marjorie Dawes impression here) I can't do with watching people making them. And I find it crazy that this moving channel was front page news. But even so it's fairly harmless telly if your into ...

Eye In The Sky. Really good film. I'm fascinated by how an unmanned aircraft can be operated and used from the other end of the world to such devastating effect. Probably not as good as good as Good Kill.

Leaving a job I love purely so I can have weekends off. But it's because my sons at school all week and then I work 12-15 hours on a Saturday so it's justified. I wouldnt do it for anyone else!

Surely that''s a sensible opinion. Cadburys Snacks were great.
For me the biscuit/chocolate ratio was way off with them.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

This week I've been having a Workaholics binge. I'm nearly caught up now so it's a bit disappointing that I'm running out!

Re: Gigs

I think my favourite festival was Leeds 2000, some great live bands here... https://pulpwiki.net/pulpwiki/uploads/Pulp/LeedsReading2000.jpg . I was at that festival and all I remember is rain. The feeling of being wet and cold for 3 days solid will live with me forever. My first, and last 3 day fes...

For me it's SNES all the way. The 2600 brings many nostalgic goosebumps but I just love the SNES sound.

Re: RIP <Insert celebrity>

Sad to hear about Gene Wilder. A good innings but still gutted to know a big piece of my childhood has died. I can still remember about 1987 ish when me and my dad came home and mum said she'd taped me a film while we were out. Sat and watched Charlie and The Chocolate Factory and was genuinely mesm...

Would it not be more fat than meat? If you like crackling then there is no issue
As a fan of crackling, I'm now wondering if Vanessa Feltz would fit in my oven.....

Re: American Adventure theme park

American Adventure wasent far from us and we went quite a few times. Great memories. When I was around 9-10 me and mum found a wallet in Derby and we took it to the branch of the bank that the debit card was for, mum left her personal details and a week later a letter came from American Adventure wi...

For me Games Master, Bad Influence and Games World all coexisted fine. In a pre internet I enjoyed every gaming show.

I'm disappointed to hear Dom Diamond is a bell end in real life.

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Agreed. I'm fully aware there are conditions which can make weight loss difficult, but people who are so fat that their health/mobility are affected through no other reason than their own lazyness are beyond stupid. I used to work with someone who was morbidly obese, and constantly complained that t...
