Re: Today

Today I started a lactose free diet as advised by the dietician to try and figure out why I was so ill at the end of last year. Been using lactofree milk for a few years now, done wonders for my issues, was always feeling bloating, sickly and burping a fair lot!! Certainly did the trick with that l...

Re: The XBOX ONE / PS4 discussion thread

Last few games I have brought on the PS4 have all been digital titles and it is running a lot quieter compared to a disk game, surely they could have used a Blu-Ray drive that doesn't generate so much noise?

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Black Sails - Picked up on Season 3 after giving it a break, really enjoying the programme again, Season 2 was a bit of a drag in compassion!

The Hardest of All Freds wrote:Freebie of Facebook - a 42" HD Philips LCD tv. All works well. Only trouble was it weighs a metric ton. I think its from around 2008ish. 2 HDMI, component and 2 scart. Perfect as a second telly for the Xbox and whatnot upstairs.
That is one hell of a freebie!!

Re: Your Recent 'Other' Purchases

A Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse, was getting very annoyed at using a laptop track pad again and went for a Bluetooth mouse over a USB dongle.

Seems a decent enough mouse, keep catching the side button that brings up the start menu.

I had a meal from Pizza Hut for the first time in ages, it is now nearly 3am and I have had the shits all night, every time I lie down it feels like a volcano is going to go off! Had submitted a report to the local food standards, just in case!

Re: What game have you COMPLETED this week

Uncharted 4 (PS4) - What a wonderful game and a nice way to round up the story of the last three games, wonder what path Uncharted 5 will take after seeing that little preview for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The story in Uncharted 4 was really well told and Naughty Dog have nailed the game play for ...

Re: Today

Bit of a retro nostalgia day today, pretty normal as I went with my Missus to see IMR Jr have his swimming lesson, pretty cool how babies are programmed to survive in water! Anyway, they have a Wimpy and bowling alley on the floor above the leisure centre that I wanted to check out due to being hung...

Re: Today

Today, I put an SSD drive in my laptop, difference feels like night and day compared to a standard SATA drive, extremely fast!

Very late to the SSD party but £25 for 128GB sounded like a good deal from Crucial.
