Nice! When the HOTD2&3 pack came out I was moaning that they should have done a new game instead, and now...they have. :P Mind you, I'd still like to see a port of HOTD4 for the 360! But it looks like the Wii will be HOTD's home from now on... Probably wouldn't happen on the 360, thanks to newer TV...

Phantasy Star!

Despite being a Sega fan all my life, I never actually played Phantasy Star until now. Probably because I was never too big on RPG's when I was younger. But recently I had the compulsion to check out the games, and I've started by playing the original Master System game via emulator. And wow, despit...

You'd have to be a bit of a cretin to honestly be amused by this, surely?
Yeah, I have to agree, pretty childish I must say :?
Though what worries me more is that someone actually wasted time making it!

At the moment:

*Soul Calibur IV (X360)
*No More Heroes (Wii)
*Smash Bros Brawl (Wii)- mostly trying to unlock all the trophies and stickers now, dunno if I'll get there :P

The Outrun feature was a really fascinating read, I didn't know there'd been that much research done into its development :) The arcade game countdown also had some good choices.
Good stuff as usual!

I have just about every issue of Gamesmaster from 1996 up to the present day, always loved that mag. Too bad the show isn't on anymore :( Back in the day I absolutely adored Sega Saturn magazine, always brings back great memories when I flick through a copy now. And it was nice to see it appreciated...

Yeah, it was interesting to listen too, I wasn't aware they'd done quite so much videogame voicework either. Whilst we're on the subject, what do people think of the Futurama game? Its not perfect, sure, and often frustrating, but its somewhat fun to play through. I must admit I resorted to an FAQ f...

My dad got a kick out of the front cover, he used to love Track and Field :P A good issue, the Konami feature in particular was an interesting read. Can't say it convinced me to think any better of Alex Kidd though :P (though it was good that the article did point out its flaws!) And an interview wi...

Meteos is a fun little puzzle game, and quite addictive. Also have to recommend Another Code and Hotel Dusk , though the former is quite short. Oh yes, and Zelda Phantom Hourglass of course. It uses the DS's touch screen features in absolutely genius ways, and the puzzles will impress ya, its just ...

Essentially, we do kind of cover 'why you should play' through the Classic Game, Eastern Promise and Top 25 articles. This is why the Retro Shamers, we feel, add a little more variety to the mag, because they tell you what not to play. Yeah, I think its pretty much covered by the other features to ...
