I don't get why this gets asked so much :? As people have said, it's "Shen-Moo", that's how the characters pronounce it when it's spoken. (Not to spoil anything for those who haven't played it but near the end of Shenmue II you find out what Shenmue actually is) And it drives me crazy when people sa...

Wow, awesome playing there. Particularly enjoyed Metropolis, and the S3&K theme ^_^
Now if you did Icecap Zone you would officially be my God.

Wow, that's pretty shocking with Mario Kart. Surely that can be the only arcade game in history cheeky enough to do that?

For some reason it also had a weird yellowish glow that was quite noticable in the evenings. Yeah, I can't say I'm a fan of the glow, kinda kills the realism a bit. Also on the Xbox version, they added motion blurs to the fighting sequences, which also looks really tacky :? It gets points over the ...

^And the more recent Soul Calibur games have the Japanese voice+English subtitles option too, though the default is English voices.

Just ordered HoD 2+3 12.99 from gameplay http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/productpage.asp?productcode=NW0240&title=house_of_the_dead_2_and_3_return Thought it was a bargain, never played 2 + 3 so I'm looking forward to it. It's out of stock there now. But I saw it in my local Tescos earlier (Liv...

The Game and Watch feature was a pretty interesting read, even though the only one I've played is the Snoopy Tennis one that my Mum still has from when she was younger :P Soul Calibur making of was cool too, I didn't know the DC port was done in so little time, I guess that does explain why its the ...

Yeah its kind of weird with Afterburner I and II, are there any other examples of a series doing that, a sequel-not-really-being-a-sequel? :P

I kinda gave up with both Otogi games, although I did get to the penultimate (at least I think it was) level in the first one, so maybe I'll go back and try and finish it...

Update on my progress for those who care :P I just got Lutz/Noah to join my party (I'm playing the re-translation that the guys at SMS Power did, apparently she's called Noah in the normal US/EU version?), and jesus, that cave was a pain to get in and out of. I've just got to the town called Gothic,...

Thanks, but I think I'll pass on downloading that, too much hassle :P
BTW has anyone checked out the PS2 remakes they did of the first two games? I think they were Japan-only, but they look quite cool with the anime-esque graphics.

PSO was great for a couple of weeks before it got ruined by the cheaters. I recommend waiting for Phantasy Star Portable (abr. PSP, on the PSP!). The one player game gives you fairly intelligent NPC party members, so it's a lot like playing online without the idiots :) . You can also play local lin...

yeah phantasy star is fantastic but nigh on impossible without a walkthru, same goes for phantasy star 2, phantasy star 3 is just censored but 4 is great and stands up as being modern and user friendly enough to play without any help. PSO was fantastic on the dreamcast... but I dont own any of the ...
