Re: Which book(s) are you currently reading?

finished Blood Meridian, tough going in places but a brilliantly brutal book.

then read Crisis by Frank Gardner, pretty good action thriller.

now on Lexicon by Max Barry, excellent so far.

Re: Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

Jim Sterling is getting some major flack for daring to give it 7/10. The perfectly rational response of the fanboys was to DDOS his site and send a load of death threats http://www.polygon.com/2017/3/13/14912864/breath-of-the-wild-review-jim-sterling-opinion doesn't surprise me at all, the swivel-e...

Re: Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

I was asking about overall geographic size rather than things to do and game length, though I do appreciate bigger isn't always better. Re: Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

decent enough game that's being typically overhyped by nintendo fans who are bedwetting because they have..........an open game world.

I'd actually knock off a couple of points for the zelda connection, would have been better in a new game world.

Re: Labour Election Results

as predicted by many they now face political oblivion, too long chasing trendy causes instead of fighting for the real working people they are supposed to represent.

they have slit their own throat and it's going to be a pleasure to watch them bleed out.

Is this racist

or are Ian and Gwen just a pair of attention seeking cretins? who have that very modern disease of taking offence on behalf of others:

Re: Questions for Adrian 'Call of Duty' Longland

do you play COD online and how do you think the games you worked on measure up against the others in the series (Black Ops, Modern Warfare etc)?

Re: From The Forum issue 166 - First Amiga Encounters

Must have been around 1989 when I got the mighty Amiga, it came with the 10 Star Pack (Ikari Warriors, Wizball, Barbarian, Buggy Boy, The Art Of Chess, Thundercats, Mercenary, Terrorpods, are the 8 I remember). Barbarian, Ikari Warriors, Wizball, Buggy Boy, were great fun, and I also bought Kick Off...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

The Babadook, good film, not what I thought it would be, quite clever with excellent performances from the two main characters.
