(forum won't let me quote psj3809) RE: Duck Tales - Remastered

Haven't really kept up with iOS games. Do recent games like this support bluetooth controllers?

Re: FBTB The Amiga Years

I've backed it. For me FBTB skimmed over 16 bit, so I'm glad they're going to look at it in more detail. The Amiga was my second computer after a 286 DOS PC, but there was no contest when it came to games. :) Kick Off 2, Super Cars 2, Populous 2, Speedball 2... it really was great for games with the...

So I guess there's a fair chunk of people that just buy RG to relive the games in print?

Re: amiga comebacks

Kings Bounty. It wasn't an Amiga exclusive by any means but that was the format I had it on. A few years back it got a Windows Mobile 6 port. It was fantastic and is the reason I can't ever throw that phone away. It is now a dedicated Kings Bounty handheld. Didn't the whole Heroes of Might and Magi...

Identify this (BBC Micro / PCW / RM Nimbus?) train game

It's a train game where you open and close gates (using keys 1-9) to route fast trains between stations, and avoid them hitting each other. It's all on a single screen with no scrolling. Unsurprisingly you die if a train crashes! I remember playing this game in school in the very early 90s. We had B...

Real sports then eh? EA Hockey (Megadrive) - Fun game, before sports games became simulations PGA Tour Golf (DOS) - Actually makes golf fun, and the TV style builds the pressure as the tournament unfolds John Madden Football '93 (Megadrive) - Amazing game that made me jump from SNES to MD!...

Re: iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch game recommendations

Well one frustrating thing about iOS is that how tech changes so quickly. Found more and more games not working on my iphone 4s, bit 'naughty' and treated myself to a 128 gig iphone 6 ! I noticed the same with my 4s. It's basically Apples built in obsolescence plan to get you shelling out £700 ever...

Re: From the forum issue 138 - Point and click

LOOM (Amiga) is the only P&C that I've completed. Fantastic game.

Enjoyed Monkey Island (Amiga), but Day of the Tentacle (DOS) has to be my favourite in the genre.
