Re: Retro gamer content in simpler format?

I would think about changing from printed mag to digital if the content was designed for tablets rather than A4. However, to do a great job the digital mag would need a really good app, with links to videos, etc.

Insert Coin: Inside Midway's '90s Revolution (Kickstarter)

5 days to go on Insert Coin: Inside Midway's '90s Revolution movie.

Should be great viewing for fans of arcade classics like NBA Jam, Wrestlemania, Mortal Kombat, SmashTV, NARC, etc.

Forum/Section with topic per game?

Would anyone use a new forum/section with a topic per game?

After reading the mag and playing some of the featured games, it would be nice to have a forum where we could discuss that particular game (e.g. Master of Darkness on the SMS).

Or are there other sites for this type of thing? :?

Same at mine. Bet they probably paid a fortune for them too!

We also had one of those massive Doomsday CD drives, but I don't remember a single person using it. :?

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 143

A small note regarding the Max Payne article: the real name of the writer is Sami Järvi (a rather direct translation to English is Sam Lake, though). In addition to writing the story, he lent his looks to the first Max Payne incarnation. He looks almost exactly the same in some old photos. I did th...

Re: Apple are at it again.

I'm still using an 3GS which I bought brand new back in 2009. In works a treat and the battery life is still pretty good, I've not really had any issues beyond it starting to run a bit slow but I put that down to the age of the flash memory. They do start to go after a bit, it's on iOs 6.8/7 I thin...
