That depends on what you mean by "commercial" really... are you talking about setting up a dev company, publisher or similar, are we talking real media or downloads? No plans, just interested in a niche existing or not. I guess downloads would be the only option, as boxed would be way too expensive...

Is there a market for new commercial "retro" games

I was wondering if people felt there was enough of a market for new commercial "retro" style games on current hardware? I'm specifically talking about new R&D instead of a rehash of an old game. Now before you rush and say xyz from xbox live arcade... forgive my ignorance as I don't have a console t...

Don't want to take business away from the publishers of this fine mag, but if they don't want to offer paypal purchases then you can always buy a single issue from sellers on eBay.

Zone 66 for an early 90s PC game.

Had a mint collection of the first 20 "The One" mags, but lost them in a house move

Although I do have a "games magazine" which came on VHS from the early '90s. It's probably worth 5p though...

Someone managed to write an entire book about the c64/amiga scene, so you must be able to write a two page piece about it's impact on games :)

The challenge has been laid down...

The idea was that the original game play would be perfect, as it wasn't being rewritten, instead emulated. However, the gfx and sound would be updated.

Maybe they'll release the beta one day?

RetroFX - Ghosts and Goblins

I wondered if anyone on here followed the RetroFX G&G remake from a couple of years ago? The plan was to run an emulated version of the arcade G&G, but replace the gfx and sound with updated versions. Examples here: http://www.retrofx.com/before+after.html They did have a demo version, but it was ne...

Apparently the text on web pages starts to fade when there's a recession...

RG sounds like it's in a strong position, so a little less worrying and a bit more gaming!
