Re: Early '90s PC Gaming Magazine (Scans)

At the moment I am putting together a Wikipedia entry for the magazine and following that I intend to scan them, although at the moment I don't know where I'm going to put them. I am missing issue #6 though which drunken_ewok has but I can't contact him. That'll be great! Let us know when...

Re: Best PC era

...Stunts... Hoo boy, Stunts. That is truly an underrated classic. My friends and I would do time trials of one of the tracks (the one with the raised suspension bridge). Just when you thought there was no possible way anyone could possibly go faster, another second would be shaved off the time. Ar...

Re: Early '90s PC Gaming Magazine (Scans)

Thanks for posting the photos!

Would you be willing to scan any of them? Say the first issue of PC Leisure? There's virtually nothing about it on the web

If you want to sell them, then I would be interested, as I would like to scan and upload some of them

Re: Best PC era

I would go for "The VGA/Adlib era (early 90s)". My first PC was a CGA monster, photo-realistic graphics rendered in purple, blue and white! Games like Silpheed, Hostages and Leisure Suit Larry got a lot of play. However, a couple of years later I upgraded to VGA and enjoyed Stunts, Catacomb 3d, Wolf...

Re: Early '90s PC Gaming Magazine (Scans)

Thanks for posting the photo! I think I had the first 8 issues once upon a time. :)

I would be in the market for buying them, but er, think you would have to leave it in the hands of the eBay Gods as to the final price...

Re: On the Edge The Spectacular Rise and Fall of Commodore book

Fantastic book. I enjoyed it as much as Masters of Doom.
Can't believe it's $100 on Amazon.com

You would never want to work for Jack Tramiel after reading the back cover...

Re: Early '90s PC Gaming Magazine (Scans)

I've got the DVD of scanned "The One" issues. Think it was £5 from eBay.
The quality is ok, as many of the pages are black and white, while others were scanned at really bad angles!

Didn't anyone else buy PC Leisure magazine then?
